Great book about inclusion, making new friends, acceptance of diversity as value to look at in a positive perspective

This story is so cute about a girl who loves pets and gets a new guinea pig for her birthday. But this isn't your run-of-the-mill guinea, indeed this one comes with a judo costume on! And all the other pets come off at first as jealous and irritated by the newcomer. Over time Maud (the weirdo's name) comes to woo them over and they all get on well with each other! Artwork, story, and characters sell this wonderful book and it is a proven favorite of my daughter!
