Lenox 788576 Butterfly Meadow Large All-Purpose Bowl , Yellow

Smaller than I expected.

It's a lovely bowl. I'm going to put mints in it for a tea party for my daughter's bridal shower and it's the perfect size for that.

The bowl is very pretty just a little smaller than I expected. But would buy it anyway because it is so nice looking.

I originally bought a set of the Butterfly Meadow Large All-Purpose Bowls when they were first released, but unfortunately, one of them chipped. I purchased this one as a replacement, but the color is a bit darker, and the design and text on the bottom are different from the original. While it’s not a perfect match, it’s still a lovely bowl and serves its purpose well.

I absolutely love this bowl! The pattern (from original hand-painting), is so colorful and cheerful. I love how it's also included on the inside of the bowl. Sometimes have to look twice to make sure there really isn't a ladybug there, lol. I also love the shape of this bowl with its lightly-scalloped edge. It can go into the microwave, as well as the freezer. I love that it's so lightweight and try to use it for as many meals as possible, such as: fruit salad, cereal, oatmeal, quinoa mixed with veggies, soup, eggs, pasta, salads etc. It is the perfect size for one person. I will definitely be getting more of this pattern for other bowls I purchase. Also looks so beautiful through my glass door cabinets. I highly recommend this product.

Why would Amazon ship this pretty bowl in a box with other products and not in a Lenox box? Are we shipping now Lenox products from a shelf somewhere? I am surprised this bowl did not break in shippping but I did notice an imperfection on the outside bottom of the bowl. Not a deal breaker but it bothers me when I run my finger around it. Maybe these are rejects from Lenox quality control and they are now being sold on Amazon because this is the second time this has happened with defective items I have received.I will from now on order straight from Lenox if you want to give these products as a gift.
