920D Custom JB-CON-CH-BK-T Concentric Control Plate with Toggle Switch

Once I got my head around the idiotic instruction snafu, I wired it into the old Squier Jazz bass and upgraded it splendidly.

Easy install, wide range of tones. The series/ parallel switch adds a nice boost when switching to series. The diagram on their website for installation assistance was illustrated to wire the pickups to the wrong pots. Hopefully this has been rectified.I used some later Jazz style concentric knobs. The knobs that came with it are very high quality, just wanted a different look.

This thing felt well built and I was able to follow the current wiring diagram (10/15/21) with out any trouble.In parallel my neck volume act more like a blend (it can be all the way off), and the bridge volume is the master volume. In series it operates independently.I put this on my Squier paired with SD hot pick ups. Coming from the "I like to have options directly on the bass", this was a great add. Conversely, I couldn't recommend to any one who would want as little as possible on the bass control. For my want though, fantastic. Bit brings a wide amount of lows and mids that I didn't have before, and retains almost all the bite it had when I want it (missing treble is like a budge away from my amp eq.)

I paired this control plate up with some Aguilar hum-canceling pickups to create my all-time favorite bass. The mix of tones you can get out of this control plate is just incredible! You can add or take away growl and bite, or get a boost of mids for a p-bass sound with the neck soloed. The pots are smooth and noiseless, the build quality is fantastic, and the customer support is great. I let the other reviews convince me that their wiring diagram is wrong, but 920D customer support assured me that their current diagram is correct. I wired it per their current drawings (2020) and it works great! This won't be my last purchase from 920D, that's for sure. Great stuff!

Buenas terminaciones y sonido, calzo bien en un jazz bass mexicano fender, el único detalle es que los potenciometros no tienen un recorrido suave, no gira fácilmente, al parecer están muy juntos y no hay una separación suficiente entre las 2 perillas

Quality CTS pots, nicely made! A little tricky to wire in, but not bad.
