Can someone tell me if this paint tray that comes with this is a solid one or one of the throw away ones?? i need a solid replacement not throw away

Although the tray is plastic, it is think enough so that it is really not a "throw away' type. the first time I used it, I lined it with aluminum foil, so clean up was easy.

Are these rollers good for water based paint?

Yes. Any paint. They small so use slowly . dont brush rolling paint fast. I used acrylic paint. Slow and steady will do good job.

Is the product uncomfortable for the baby?

Well if the baby doesn’t like painting then probably yes 😎
