Excellent sound quality, amazing price!
I purchased this for my daughter to start her own podcast channel teaching other kids her age how to play the guitar. she is also is an avid PC gamer, and has also been able to utilize this microphone with gaming as well. It’s a Very versatile and lightweight mic that’s easy to use and maneuver. For the price the sound quality is excellent. it surpassed my expectations and more!It came beautifully packaged and very easy to set up~ literally just plug and play. The instructions are user-friendly & easy to understand. It has gotten tons of use over the past couple of months, and holding up very well. The stand is durable and designed to last.Makes this a great investment as a starter microphone. Recommended!

Great as a starter mic
My youngest wanted to try out some recording and I was glad to get this one for her. It's straightforward and really versatile, able to work for mobile devices and computers. It does has just a little bit of hiss from gain, but it's nothing that's going to interrupt a beginner from getting great sound. And the pop screen is also a great addition, it does have that cool look. But it also trains you to mind your pops and to keep your voice in range and on target to the mic.

Not Worth It
I returned this microphone for two main reasons. The female part on the microphone loosened after two uses rendering it useless even when the mic is held steady on the table. So, if you push too hard to plug in it may loosen and if you plug in too gently it won't connect making it not easy to use. The other reason is the the noise reduction feature did not cancel the background noise, even when you speak into it at close range. What it does is create an annoying "sh" sound instead causing you to use a software (pricey) to remove the "sh: sound. Therefore, it does not produce the clarity sound you are looking for. It is not worth the value for the money. It looks easy to use, and it is, if it weren't for the things I mentioned.

Truly Professional Quality
I do professional commercial voice-overs, and was stunned by the quality. True 20-20khz frequency range, without the “mud” in the 500hz range. True cardiod front-facing pickup. Works best with only included windscreen and working 6” from mic. Whisper or shout, and it digitally processes wonderfully. See pic for setup, and well modulated, even delivery on the wave of the audio recording software, after recording. I do slightly tweak the EQ, compression & add limiter to suit my needs per type of commercial read. Compactly replaced my previous pro XLR ribbon mic, tube Pre-amp, without losing the warmth.Headphone output lets you hear yourself, while recording.Truly plug & play, no need to download a driver. Note: At one point after year in use, mic driver became “unavailable.” Just a Windows & Dell update needed corrected.

Super impressed
I had bought an expensive tonor microphone a few years back and was nervous to purchase another microphone, this one is cheaper yet is so much better. I am so glad I bought this one. It is sensitive as a microphone should be. Other reviews talk about it being "too sensitive" but there is software that can help eliminate background noise if it bothers you. So far I have used it with my windows laptop and setup was easy if you follow the little instruction manual. I will be trying it out with my phone as well as using it with garage band on my IPad. I was worried my turtle beach headphones wouldn't be compatible since other people had issues with no feedback. You may have to mess around with your input and output settings if you're having this issue. The echo/reverb feature is very nice for those who sing and I'd also recommend this mic if you're for podcasting or streaming!
