RoadKing RK56B Noise Canceling Mic wired 4 Pin CB Radio Cobra Galaxy

I read the reviews about how the Road King was not as well made as they were with Telex, and they are correct. I started using this mic after Christmas and by mid May it is not working. I contacted the seller and was told to send it to Road King and it would be replaced, that was all I was told. I had to contact seller again to get contact information for Road King, the address was sent to me and the seller made sure to let me know that information was sent with my order. I felt like they didn't want to be contacted about this problem. People I talk with on CB say the sound quality is still good.

I expected better from this manufacturer. It works, but no better than the mic that came with the radio. I would not purchase again, nor would I recommend that anyone else purchase it for use with the Galaxy DX-959B except for replacement purposes. In other words, this mic will not improve upon the mic that came with the radio.

This was exactly what my husband was looking for and soooooo much less expensive than the truck stop. He said the cord was a bit long, but workable. Good quality mic! We are so glad we checked here before purchasing at the truck stop.

If your a truck driver this is the mic you run with! If your just a cb novelist that has a cb in your car, then this is the mic you want. Wouldn't have any other mic.

Works well, only issue of concern is the mike key sticks, hopefully this will not lead to a failure.

great mics as far as I'm concerned

It a good mic that give you a good tone. but my radio sounds louder with a Astatic 636 so it's what you prefer if you want a deeper tone Road King 56 is the way to go but if you want a little louder sound but not as rich tone the Astatic is good.
