I got this to replace an outside receptacle on my home. I needed an “in use” outlet cover and this one fit perfectly. It comes with optional vertical or horizontal orientation. It’s high quality thick plastic, matches my home color and easy to open and install.

Husband installed quickly to replace old/broken ones that were installed when the house was built in 2011. Product is as described and fits perfectly. The material is more brittle than I hoped. I was hoping it had more of a hard rubber feel to it, but it does not. However, after reading reviews from other buyers I'm hopeful that it will stand up to the weather elements. Oklahoma is HOT in the summer and COLD in the winter and one of the outdoor outlets is on our patio and not protected if not for this cover. Good price and highly recommended so... overall happy with the purchase.

Works great and easy install

Had to replace my 20 yr old one on my home as the plastic part hinge broke. I ordered & prayed that it would fit as my old one ( manufacturer ) is no longer made. I am not sure if all these are universal or standard sizes but it fit on mine.it dies come w extra pieces to accommodate for either one or 2 outlets. Naturally I had to remove old one 1st. I was hoping to only remove plastic cover but the hinges are different. The screws & holes are tiny on both old & new one so will take a little time to replace. When I was doing this my switch part- recessed back into my wall & then asked my husband to come out to help me. This is not due to the product bought. Anyway, it took about 30 mins for us to attach. Maybe more handy people it would take maybe 15 mins. It seems sturdy & appears that it will endure weather elements.

These boxes are great. I switched out three of my old metal covers for these. Somewhat easy to install, there are different plates you can use for different outlets which is nice. the only bad thing I can say is that, if you have Stucko on the outside of your house like I do here in Florida, you will have a little bit of difficulty screwing the inside plate down. The company does provide longer screws for that purpose though, just a little tricky screwing them in. Still, I like the new look.
