Cute and practical
I gave this as a gift for my grandson's 4th birthday. I was not sure about the quality for the low price but find he not only enjoys it but uses it all by himself ~ wakes up in the morning and puts on one of the CDs I purchased to go with it. His parents tell me he loves this.

Trouble keeping lid closed.
The lid for this CD player would not stay closed within 10 minutes of starting to use the toy for the first time. We tried screwing on a clip to hold the lid down, but the player would then only work for a short time, and then it would stop. Another major problem is that there is no power cord with the CD player. It takes 6 batteries, so that is a constant hassle. Definitely it should have a power cord shipped as part of the purchase. Overall, I would not recommend this CD player.
