Lew'sMach Crush Left Hand Baitcast Reel, Orange, One Size (MCR1SHLA)

Bought this Lews Crush reel as a 50 dollar off second chance blemishes reel. Took it out fishing coupled with the Lews TP1 med fast 7 foot rod. The reel was blemishly marred on both sides of the reel topside each side of the spool on the reel itself and a paint blemish on the side. Took the reel out fishing and casting after setup was beautiful. So saving 50 bucks on this reel was worth it. This was not my first second chance purchase. I bought another product backpack with water pouch camel back like product for 50 percent off and still cannot find the blemish on that product warranting the return. Refurbish and save is what I say.

This reel out-performs more pricier brands.

I have the Mach 2 reel also, so in comparison the Mach Crush has no brakes. Turned on and switched to ten max, the spool still spins freely. Either the magnets are weak or they don't adjust close enough. either way no brakes. It looks great and the rest of the functionality works perfect. built a rod specifically for this reel, think I'll try and find a mach 2 to replace it.

I bought this product on July 16th and my return window was on the 17th of august. Today after a few times using it I noticed my drag is broken. It’s maxed out and still drags easily. I’m very disappointed with Lews(bad unreliable reel) and Amazon for not taking my return only two weeks after the return window!

Seems like an open box item. Reel seems okay, but there was no manual in the box. So it had to have been opened, therefore not a new reel. Will wait for response from seller.
