I use this mostly for crochet. It’s good, and once you get the hang of counting each stitch (or by row, whatever you need it for) you can get in a good rhythm.It does glitch sometimes when you hit the count button, and it’ll go up two counts (like, you’re on stitch 47, hit the button, and it goes to 49). So, if you use this, be careful about that!Other than that glitch (happening multiple times, almost back to back) it’s been great. I’m working on a blanket with new stitches and it’s nice to see my stitches as I go.

Herrschners Susan Bates Digital Row Counter Accessory: I could not get used to this on my finger, but no matter, because it works great and stays put when I open the straps and lie it on the table next to me. Nice that there is a reset button for counting ten, ten, ten over and over. I am not sure it is my favorite counter, but it is just as good as any of my other favorites.

Very handy for quick row counting. Lightweight and durable. I recommend it for fellow yarn’ers.

I really want to love this product, but there are some improvements that could easily be made to make this so much better. My pro for this is that it's simple and it works just fine. I have not had any issue with it incrementing when I haven't touched the button. I also like that the display turns off when left unattended for a long while. Do not, however, use the reset button to wake it back up!Now for my cons... Firstly, I was really liking the pink color pictured. I was thinking that the bright color would make this easily identifiable in my very full, messy year bag. Alas, my dreams of not losing this tool to my yarn was not meant to be. Mine came in a lighter silver color that blends in with almost everything. I've already had to dig through my bad multiple times in search of this counter. Secondly, not pictured is the very large "Susan Bates" text along the bottom of thus counter. The text is very large and faces the user if you place the counter on the back of your finger (like me). The next issue I have is with the band. I'm not sure why a plastic was used for this. It's hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable. I plan on replacing the band on mine with an elastic ring. Lastly, I feel this product could be greatly improved with a simple, hard plastic cover for the front that snaps on and off when you want to throw this in your bag. That's what we're doing with thus when it's not in use, we're throwing it in a bag and the incrementer is going to get pushed. I'd be willing to pay more if it just came with a simple snapping cover.Overall, it's a nice, basic, cheap product, but I will be making modifications to mine to make it better and if I can make those changes, the company should be able to very cheaply.

Update from last review...when I open package it wasn't working and I was going to send it back. Then a few days later my grandson was cleaning and found it in my car and got it out and said it's working grandma, so I don't know what I was doing g wrong, but it working perfectly

Great little tool for counting my knitted rows. Could use a light on it but other than that it is perfect.
