I Purchased this for my father who loved mine so much he had to have one. Unfortunately for me that meant he wanted a new screen door to go with it. I installed both the same day and now my wants a new main door also. The Quick Hold Deluxe was simple to install and work perfectly. I could not be happier with it. I will say read the instructions. I thought I knew what was up and didn't and miss a bit of information that made me think it did not work. However, after I read the instructions I found my mistake and had to sigh with relief when it worked. Better than mine which is a different brand.

I hate everything about this product. Doesn't adjust well at all Weird bar on it. Can get a better cheaper one at Walmart

I installed this on a gate that I wanted to latch more securely. This opener did not allow the gate to fully open, (It opened about 75 degrees instead of 90 degrees to fully open) and it didn't latch any better than it did with the old closer, which I put back on... So this was a waste of time, money and energy...

Great product! Super easy to install. It came with easy to understand instructions. It is heavy duty, and manages my heavy steel door. I highly recommend.

As the headline says, swapped out on our new storm door, the "same" Ideal closer that is one model style lower for this top-end one. 2 screws and 1 pin out, change, 1 pin and 2 screws in. Took all of 2 minutes. However, comes as complete kit to totally replace any type of old closer on any old or brand new storm door installation. The easy-hold-open function is great, no bending down to fiddle with an old-school shaft washer. Recommended.

The door stays open if you open it more than 75% , would prefer a option to choose if you wanted this , on occasion find the door still open when thought I closed it , could be a issue for children or pets , have mine installed on back screen door, so my yard is fenced in, have had for a couple months now really dislike the stay open feature works when you don’t want it to and doesn’t when you need it, do not recommend this product
