I purchased a similar box years ago and plastic is much more solid than these ones are, plus my older one has a metal handle all the way around, whereas these are metal sides with a plastic handle, why they didn’t continue with metal is beyond me as much more stronger as personally I could see the plastic handle snapping if you overload your toolbox.On overloading the actual weight capacity of these tool boxes is 40kg so keep that in mind if your loading it with heavy items as 40kg may sound a lot but a few socket sets and heavy duty spanner’s and say a hammer ect will soon come to 40kgAs a tradesman you will no this anyway, so if your just say a diy person then please keep this in mind.I’ve noticed on some reviews about the plastic handle snapping on them, now my guess is it’s gone past the 40kg capacity load.Obviously you could overload it but if so I’d keep the heavy weight towards the wheels as will take the strain off the handle to hopefully stop it from snapping.For the money though I can’t really fault it as it’s large and can store enough tools in and easily moved around, but just keep in mind the weight issue, also I wouldn’t advise standing on it to as I doubt it would hold an average size and weight builder say.The tote tray to-well it’s like just under half the size of the box, why they never made it full size is beyond me again, but I guess with the price inflation ect going on it’s a case of saving money.Now after all my pitfalls on this box please don’t let that put you off as it’s still an ok box for more lightweight tools, I’ve actually purchased 2 so I’m definitely not putting it down, I’m just being honest so your not expecting a solid all rounder tool box and receive a light weight, light use tool box.I keep all my air tool accessories in the one and decorating tools in the other and they are rammed to the fullest and do the job great, whereas all my spanner’s,hammers,ect are kept in a more robust box I purchased years ago.So that’s my take on the toolbox, I was disappointed at first as was expecting one like my old one (solid) but they are still a good toolbox to keep all your accessories in and even heavy tools so long as you keep that weight capacity in the back of your mind as you may end up with a snapped handle like many have reported on their reviews.I hope my review helps in deciding to purchase this box, it’s not naff but it’s certainly not building site quality in my personal opinion where you’d normally load it up with everything you possibly could.As a guess to 40kg, it’s about 20 large bags of sugar, not the massive bags mind, the ones that usually cost £1.20p.Well with the price inflation now probably more but hopefully that will give you some idea if your totally not sure on 40kg.

Bought for work was sick of carrying a heavy metal tool box around loads of space in this but wish it had a couple more compartments on top but value for money n nice n easy to pull along lads have been taking the micky calling it a suit case but least it doesn't pull my arm out !!

This is big and spacious inside. So I bought for husband as he has bits everywhere and with the tolling handle he does not have to carry. Being waterproof it's ideal

Sturdy box comfortable when pulling,tote tray completley useless too shallow to hold tools when you pull it by the handle all the tools fall out into the bottom,brought a 2nd tote tray to avoid over filling the 1st one now i have twice as many tools falling when pulling along come on stanley give an option of a deeper tote tray and this box wold be epic!

Perfect I hade my tools stolen but can keep everything in this grate quality handy for molibety.

If you have space to put this box it is a great bit of kit to have. Strong and spacious with plenty of space for tools, fixing etc.
