My husband already had this item in red and loved it, so I was aware of all its many features in advance. It's so handy for a night or 2 away if your outing is informal and you all you need is a couple changes of undies and light clothing, but there's also room for toiletries, laptop (special padded side-zip pocket makes it easy to retrieve). It's just an all-around wonderfully designed bag. Well thought out. Even has a little RFID pocket where you can securely store your wallet and credit cards another nice feature is a small zip pocket right at the top that can accommodate sunglasses, keys, or whatever you might need quick access to. I bought a new laptop this fall and didn't want to use my large Targus backpack/bookbag that accommodates my older 17" laptop. The SwissGear bag easily accommodates and projects my new smaller HP laptop while providing plenty of compartments and room for items I'd like to store separately. I bought it in green because it was by far the cheapest choice at the time, but it's a beautiful emerald shade of green Couldn't love this bag more!

Honestly the best back pack I’ve ever owned. Sturdy. Good quality. So many organization compartments. This bag has made it easy for 1-2 day work travel days. Fits all my business clothes, electronics and everything I need. Doesn’t feel bulky.

Great bag. It looks smaller than it is at first. I almost thought I received the wrong item. But this bag fits a ton of stuff. I always like to pack extra clothes so I have options when I travel and I was able to fit everything I needed for a 3 day trip, with spares. I love the little pockets and compartments to fit things in to keep stuff organized. The back is padded and very comfortable. The handles make it very easy to maneuver if you put in in the overhead bin on a plane. I have another SwissGear laptop backpack, and I love how they design bags that store a lot of stuff, are comfortable to wear, you can keep it all organized, and they don't look too bulky.

I was able to fit a 16in MacBook Pro, a medium Wacom tablet, and an iPad Pro in the laptop sleeve. Granted they were a lil too snug, but pretty great, as I need all those things when I travel for work. I loved the other compartments, definitely easier to pack and see what you have inside. A great carryon or personal item for my flight. A few things I didn’t love: the thing that adjusts the shoulder strap rubs my arm. Not a problem in the winter, but wearing this in the summer for a significant length of time is likely to result in blisters. I also wished it had a chest strap (and even a waist strap) as my tech stuff can get pretty heavy. I also don’t love the colors. Wished there was a version that was all camel or just an elegant black or a nice dark green or sophisticated gray, but that’s a personal preference. A small pet peeve that most backpacks have is black lining: why??? It makes it so much harder to see inside. A lighter color lining will make things easier to find in there. I’ve gotten into the habit of always having a rechargeable, motion sensor light in my bags to compensate, but wish I didn’t have to. All that said, it does make travel easier for me, it does a good job for the price and I would buy it again.

I got this for a great price because it was an older model (and discontinued color) that Amazon must have been looking to clear it out. The color is a slightly darker green then what appears in the picture. Overall very happy with the purchase and price paid. The backpack is one of the more functional travel backpacks out there on the market. It has useful pockets for the day-to-day items you need to grab out of a bag while also having a main area where you would pack clothes and other similar travel items. The laptop section is well padded and easy to access. Probably will only be large enough for most people to pack for a 2-3 day trip, but will still fit nicely under the seat in a plane when full.

Great quality, lots of storage.

The item was damaged and missing items. The packing cube was not included. One of the backpack straps was torn at the bottom and not functional. The item was a defective piece of garbage that the seller tried to pawn off on a unsuspecting customer.

This is just ideal in so many ways. Perfectly sized for day to day use, but equally expands enough for a business trip, while the laptop compartments lets you easily separate business items and clothes / toiletries. Well made, looks smart and has plenty of compartments. Price to own this in the UK stings a little when you can buy these on the US Swissgear website for 50 bucks, but the quality does feel worth it.

Expensive but quality. Comes with a myriad of pockets and compartments, a wet laundry bag, a zippered shoe bag, and a mesh bag, all of which can attach inside. One laptop compartment inside and another zippered one for a slimline laptop or a tablet on the back, also takes a document folder. Bought it as my work bag after a colleague unintentionally emptied an entire cup of milky coffee into the previous one and there was no way to get the smell out of the lining. As some other reviewers have noted, it is quite large, probably too big for what most commuter types would need for a day-to-day bag. I now use this as my cabin bag instead of my small wheeled cabin bag suitcase as it's a kilogram lighter and I'm always overweight. Has a shoulder strap so don't have to wear as a backpack. Also because it's a high-end brand airline staff tend to wave it through.
