Dark Curse: A Fae Shifter Romance (Guardians of the Fae Realms) Paperback – April 8, 2021

What an explosive start to a great new (and continuation of the previous) series! Excellent pacing, enough humor to get you through the rough patches, and plenty of suspense to keep you going (not to mention a perfect hit of spice), and you can’t put this book down.

There was still an over use of catch phrases, and I still had to occasionally check back to see which characters POV I was reading, but not as much as the first 5.The high points of this novel were combining characters that were introduced in the first 5 books with new characters from the other realm. Also intriguing was the idea that two people bound by fate already had relationships going on. And once again, I downloaded the next book immediately so I could continue the story.

First off, keyla is outspoken, mature, strong willed, and most of all caring for such a inexperienced young princess. But she's a fast learner and exerts her right to be heard. I love her spunkiness. She fights for those she loved and doesn't turn away from her responsibilities. Great story complex but rewarding in its telling. Calli story had me hooked to the end and Keyla story is just as well written ... Its a must read from Calli story to Keyla.

So as start.out finding Keyla, the prime Princess, is soul seared to the Prince of the Far realm. Could things get any.more screwed up? J.L. has brought us another series that will be a sexy, not, polyamorous fest of love, betrayal, intrigue, danger and far politics. Great read, Amazing characters, and I can't wait for the next installment.

I am in love with this series. The world building is wonderful and I enjoy that it's will written. The first five books were addicting and this section just was addictive.

While this is a continuation of the Guardians series, Book 6 includes the original Quint in a large way but is not the main focus by any means. You definitely should read it's predecessors.As with all I've read by JL Madore this far, this tale is unique and riveting. The world created is fantastical. The characters are lovable and passionate. if you aren't into Rh, you're in the wrong place

I wasn't sure I had it in me to go on with the rest of the Fae Realm series but I'm so glad I chose to continue. This book has everything you need to get carried away. Lost loves, enemies with benefits, Fated matings, chosen and claimed matings too. An evil queen, and intrigue. I the only negative I can see is the predictability of the next addition to her harem, but adding him in will be a wild ride I'm sure.

I like where this is going but I don’t like the fact that they acted like Doc had no right to be upset and basically told him get in line or get out. That seemed cruel to me

I really love the guardians of the fae realms so far! Calli and her mates in the beginning of the series was fabulous and now its Keyla's turn!!Keyla plans to mate her bear (Doc) who you see in the former books but things dont go as plan. Creed isnt looking for a mate but somehow ends up being Keyla's soul mate and leaves her and Doc in a heart beaking place. But can two become three!? Creed also has lots to say and share of the realm he comes from! And no everything is as it seems. The phoenix has open the gate but whats left on the other side after centries of being cut off of the fae realms!?Can't wait to read whats next for these amazing characters! Will the new mating last? Will there be more added to the throuple? Will the wicked Queen be defeated ?Must read seriesEnjoy

Read books 1-5 (Guardians of the Phoenix) abs fab. This book concentrates on Keyla. Could not put it down. (Have read all in this arc one after the other). Thoroughly enjoyed.

Loving book 6, I'm been on s roller coaster of emotions thur this book. Happy, sad ,mad, steaming hot with anticipation. This book is as good as the last 5 if not better. I cant wait to read more.

I absolutely loved the first 5 books in this series, and the new direction this book is taking is equally as addictive. i hand on heart did not want to put this book down for a minute.i would really recommend this book, and books 1-5. perfect escapism that you never want to end

Loving this series. Strong female with strong males. Great plots. Eager to continue reading. Love the way Calli n her guys are still involved.
