I was a bit skeptical because of the incredible price. These vanilla beans were great. Plenty of moisture but not too much to cause mold. No dried out beans. Perfect for making extract. Very consistent size. For those that prefer to purchase your vanilla beans by weight as I do here's what I got. After I cut them in two and split them down the middle I ended up with 8.3 ozs of beans. Best price on Amazon. If I had known the weight I would've purchased 4 bags. Shipping was super fast and the vacuum seal was perfect. The aroma when I cut the bag upon was vanilla heaven! Great packaging. You won't go wrong buying these vanilla beans.

These beans came sealed in a vacuum packed bag which is nice to preserve freshness. These smelled great and the color was vibrant. Size was perfect, around 5.5 inches. I used them to make vanilla extract and the taste is amazing. These are perfect.

We couldn't have made wonderfully delicious vanilla bean scones without you.I haven't made extract with these, so I can't comment on that - but these were moist with a nice flavor, and the fragrance of them was absolutely lovely. They were sealed air-tight (vacuum?) to avoid oxidation, keeping all the flavor and good stuff in. Truly fragrant and beautiful, so whether you're making scones or extract, I'd recommend!

Bought another brand first, don't waste your time like me. Get these beans! Made extract, the vanilla beans were plump, soft and much larger than the other brand I bought. Plus I got double the quantity (and quality) for the price.
