New house, new problems!
We got a new house and needed a few more of these for some areas. I thought they installed easily but we had a HUGE leak in our lower bathroom and this thing did NOTHING. Others work just fine so I'm trying to diagnose whether or not it's a connectivity issue or an issue with that sensor.

Already saved me from one flood!
TLDR: These are *AWESOME*!!!!!!!!I have to admit, I was *really* skeptical of the "YoLink" family of products when I bought them. It sounds kind of hoaky and well, I didn't think it would work all that well. BOY, I WAS WRONG! I bought a YoLink Hub with leak sensors and bought this 3-pack to protect extra areas of my home. About a week after installation, they went off when my water heater relief valve let go and the water got shut off immediately so that the flood was very limited in scope. These devices are awesome so far, and I am so glad I have bought them. I also bought sensors for my refrigerators and a water shutoff valve motor that automatically shuts the water off to my house if a leak is detected. I can see the status of my home from anywhere that I have cell signal!Installation: Couldn't be easier. Get the app from the app store, click on the "scan" button and scan a QR code on the back of the device. It gets added to your YoLink Home, and after you power it on, you get instant feedback as to the health of the device, the health of the connection, and the status (alarmed or normal). 10 seconds per device to install. You can name each one, organize them into rooms, and many other options.Function: I tested the leak sensors by licking my fingers and bridging the contacts with my wet finger. Each one I have bought has alarmed on all of the sensors on the device. There are two sensors on the bottom and one on the top (cleverly in a little "cup") that would hold water if it were spraying everywhere.App: The app is pretty decent. I get a dashboard that lets me see my whole home at a glance. There are a few confusing parts, like Scenes, and "Automation" which are not immediately obvious. But they have a few videos that help and their customer service was pretty responsive.Range: I have a sensor in the basement freezer and one in my kitchen refrigerator. While they aren't horribly far from the hub, they have full strength signals despite being in cold temperatures and inside the refrigerator boxes.Battery Life: I cannot comment yet, but they are not replaceable and are supposed to last 5 years. I hope that's true. But even if they last a couple years, the disaster they save you might be worth it.Installed locations: Under each bathroom sink, Under kitchen sink, Under each toilet tank, near my washer and dryer, behind my refrigerator (icemaker has leaked before), Near my boiler, near my water heater, near the A/C condensate pump.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my YoLink system. This was well worth the money, especially since it already saved me from one bad flood.

Great Leak sensors
I have these sensors everywhere a leak might occur, in the bathroom, under the kitchen sink, beside the washing machine and even one beside the hot water heater. These sensors can just sit on the floor or under the sink, out of site. I do use the one with the probe for my A/C over flow tray. I you ever have a leak in your home and it causes water damage, you already know why leak sensors are important. What is great about Yolink sensors is they not only beep when water is detected, if you have the Yolink hub (not that expensive for a smart hub) it can even notify you on your phone of the leak. If you name them, like Kitchen leak sensor, you know already via the message where the leak is.Yolink products are one of the easiest devices to setup. They place QR codes on each device and using the Yolink app, you just scan the QR code and it adds and setups up the new device. So, yes I recommend not just the water sensors, but all the Yolink devices. 1) easy setup, 2) excellent C/S if you ever need them 3) large selection of devices and sensors. 4) great value for the price. 👍👍

Excellent product and excellent customer service
I ordered 10 of these sensors since I live on the third floor and am always worried about water leaking to the neighbors below. I have had battery operated ones that were not WiFi connected and just had a loud alarm when wet and chirped when the battery was low. When I saw these it sounded much more high tech than mine so I ordered them. There were a few issues with connecting them to WiFi and I have never in my life gotten better customer service. John patiently helped me several times, even reaching out to his engineer to dig deeper into the issue. The issue was not with their product but with my WiFi, but he spent several days working with me to work it out. Always responding to calls and calling me back when he said he would. Well I’m happy to say, he solved my problem and then setting up the sensors is a total snap. I’ve very excited to have these up and running. I have tested them and they work great. I placed them around the house and now feel much more comfortable knowing I will get an alert whether I’m home or not vs having to be at home to hear a loud alarm! I highly recommend this product and this company. They totally stand behind their products, and this one is a great device.
