You'll notice these have a high 5-star rating, and for good reason. Out of the box they are easy to install and work well. They wipe water from the windshield without streaking or excessive noise.I think a very few people ordered a different item or used these for other than specified. Some of the things stated in negative reviews simply were not true with the set I received (maybe the merchant improve the item, dunno).I do know that one cannot purchase the cheapest set of wipers on the market and expect them to stand up to highly adverse conditions such as snow and ice. These are more for non-snow areas. If you live in places that have snow and ice, you're going to need heavy-duty wipers and pay the price accordingly. These are light-duty wipers that are designed to remove standard rain, and they do that well. You'll probably have to buy another pair in a year, but then again they don't cost $35 per wiper like some I've seen.

Just a basic windshield wiper, in this case for the back window. There's a J-shaped hook piece (that slides onto the existing part of the windshield wiper that doesn't need to be replaced) so you slide off the old one and put on the new. Takes less than a minute. It's not original equipment, but it fits and does the job. I might not want to get "compatible" parts for the inside of the engine, but for something like this, it's perfectly acceptable. It's suggested you replace your wipers every 6 months or so. I don't. I wait until they show signs of wear, which can be up to a year or so. No need to replace a part while it's still doing its job. One nice thing about this item is that you get 2 wiper blades, so when it's time to switch out for a new one, you already have it sitting on the shelf, waiting to be put into use. Cost is just under five bucks, so less than ten for the pair. You should probably look up your specific car for sizes. For example, my driver side wiper is 21 inches, but the passenger side is 20, and the rear is 11.

Just installed them and I’ve barely used them but install was super easy. Only used them a couple of times but they’re smooth and quiet and seem to work very well.

I spent way too much time looking for windshield wipers. I used to use the cheapest Michelin’s that Walmart carried. Last time I bought a pair they switched to some flimsy plastic connector that snapped off the first time that I turned them on. These are a great value and I would just encourage you not to waste a lot of your life reading windshield wiper reviews. These are fine so far and I like the way they snap in.
