I bought these to take on a trip and now I'm using them more than all my expensive brushes from art stores! The BEST thing about these brushes is the quality of the brush hairs! Each brush keeps its shape over time and perform perfectly day after day! I love the shorter handles as they seem to become a part of my hand and fingers when I'm in active painting. The selection of shaped brushes give me a lot of choices for creating a variety of strokes and textures. I use primarily watercolor now, but also paint in acrylics and I expect these brushes will continue to perform well in either medium!

honestly, I have only tried one of the dagger brushes so far. A 'game changer' and a revelation on how much one style of brush can do so much. Highly recommend. Great quality.

I absolutely love these brushes. The brush heads are perfectly thick and springy, and they hold lots of water and paint.I’m still getting the hang of the dagger brushes, but they perform way better than the daggers I’ve tried in the past.I have many, many paintbrushes, and most are Heritage or Velvetouch. I love these just as much, and more in some cases.

These brushes are awesome!!! I love the versatility of each brush! Kristy Rice is such an amazing and talented artist, that makes some of my favorite brushes, and has many other amazing products and books to check out!

I’ve been trying to learn watercolor for years, and it’s an art that looks much easier when someone else is doing it! I research both paint & brushes before I buy them and I have to say, these are some of the nicest brushes I have now! Love the variety and the shapes that are included!

Beautiful brushes

I’ve had these a couple of weeks and love them! The strokes they make are effortlessly beautiful. Her brushes are now my go-to and I’m going to order her other set. After about a year of following Kristy online trying to make her strokes with minimal success, I finally caved to see if her line of brushes would make a difference. They don’t disappoint. Look great, feel great, hold water well & make me inspired about painting again! My other dagger brushes do not do what these do.

I am reluctant to write this review because I do enjoy Kristy's videos and love what she is trying to do by producing these herself. I do however think it is important that buyers have good information from which to make their decision. I absolutely love the look and colours of these brushes and love the pouch they came with. I have been dying to try one of her dagger brushes so ordered the set. After having used Princeton Heritage and Princeton Neptune brushes however I was disappointed with how little water they hold. Probably not a completely bad thing for learning water control as an absolute beginner but as more advanced beginner I found it disappointing. I have only used the brushes a couple of times and after picking up the wash brush just now noticed the ferrule was loose. I checked the other brushes and the large dagger brush also had a loose ferrule. I don't hold much hope for these brushes lasting considering I take extremely good care of my brushes. I never leave them sitting in water and always clean them and let them dry flat before storing upright in between uses. I wasn't expecting top end quality but considering I pay a similar price for a set of 4 Princeton brushes I expected somewhat better quality.While the low amount of water these brushes hold is probably good for complete beginners, I don't think these dagger brushes are an easy enough brush to use to start with. I think this set could really use a size 8 or 10 round brush instead of one of the dagger brushes or cats tongue. With the cats tongue I found the bristles way too stiff and short to be useful.I am not an expert by any means so take my views as you will, but this was my view as an advanced beginner.
