Titan Books Alien: The Official Movie Novelization

According to one theory, the background to the birth of "Alien" is as follows. Although it is fragmentary, it seems that screenwriter Dan O'Bannon, who loves B-grade science fiction movies, was inspired by "The Call of Cthulhu" by horror novelist H.P. Lovecraft and wrote a science fiction-style story. Dan O'Bannon worked with Ronald Shusett to turn the synopsis he wrote into a screenplay, which he then brought to 20th Century Fox. Based on that screenplay, 20th Century Fox decided to have director Ridley Scott produce "Alien." It is unclear how credible this story is. However, there is no doubt that this book is a novelization by veteran American novelist Alan Dean Foster of the masterpiece science fiction horror film that made director Ridley Scott famous thanks to the huge success of the movie "Alien."And when I read this book, I was surprised that I had never expected that a mere novelization would actually be so great. The movie is good, but this book is a great book that is well worth reading.

Really, I never thought that one book, "inspired by the original movie release" it was so amazing, really I love this book, (if you want this book for personal use, I recommend you buy this movie graft on pages... I think that is more that the original movie)

A nice read that I thought would be too small to capture the essence of the movie but it is almost like someone telling you the Alien story around the campfire for a couple of hours. I thought the ending was much quicker in the book than the movie. I think the movie ending was much more on the edge of your seat compared to the book version. If you're a fan buy the book for some light reading. If you haven't seen the movie watch the movie first.
