The media could not be loaded. I bought this WS2812B LED strip for a DIY project to build a Ghost from the video game Destiny, and it worked perfectly! The individually addressable LEDs allowed me to create smooth lighting effects, making my Ghost look just like the ones in the game. The colors are bright and vivid, and the transitions between animations are seamless.Pros:Bright & Vibrant Colors – The RGB LEDs really bring the project to life.Individually Addressable LEDs – Allowed me to create cool effects, like pulsing and color shifts.Great Compatibility – Worked flawlessly with the ESP8266 D1 mini controller and the WLED software from the website and app store.Cons:Adhesive Could Be Better – I will need to reinforce the strip with glue.Tips:Make sure to use a 5V power supply, as this strip doesn’t run on 12V.Overall, this LED strip was perfect for my Destiny Ghost build, and I’d highly recommend it for any DIY lighting project. These lights are working perfectly for me so far, but I am going to test them outdoors for a couple of weeks and then edit my review.For those experiencing issues such as only the first 30 LEDs working, you need to change the settings on your controller.These LEDs are ADDRESSABLE, so the controller needs to know how many LEDs are in the ribbon. The controller also sets the brightness and the maximum current. I used a 'GLEDOPTO ESP32 WLED Controller' and it worked great.Note that you will need a 5V source that delivers at least 2.5 amps.[edit] I have had the lights outside in the rain for about 3 weeks and they still work perfectly. I bought three more strands and all work perfectly.

I’m not gonna pretend these are supposed to be super high end, perfect LED’s. The sticky on the back of them is definitely imperfect. Has ripples and doesn’t hold too great. But for the price, they are just fine. These don’t cost much for having a high density of LED’s/M and also considering each one is addressable. So to me they are just fine for the price.

I have been using BFT lighting WS2812 leds for projects for over a year. They have a great reputation and they do make a quality product. But the Loamlin strip was about half the price so I decided to give them a shot and I am so glad I did. Every pixel was bright and responsive when I plugged in the roll. I cut and re-soldered pieces together for a custom fit on the back of my tv and they have been working flawlessly for about a month now.I have nothing bad to say about BFT lighting, but for half the price, I can't recommend them anymore when these strips are of comparable quality and are more affordable.

The LEDs on this strip are super bright, all colors seem to be well balanced and the adhesive seems to be very good.

This was my first string using an ESP32 and WLED. The plan was to embed them in the trim going around the 4 player arcade Im building. I had an issue at first finding the data pin on the 32. The string might have sat connected to power for about half an hour before I figured it out. Then they were beautiful, for about 5 minutes. When I brought them to the cabinet to see how they look the leds wouldn't light again. I've tried everything even inserting the data down the string farther in case there was a problem with some of the leds. I notified the seller in feedback of my issue, but I haven't gotten a response. I ordered another set that was ip67 and they work with my controllers so there's definitely something wrong with this strip internally. Hopefully the second will last longer. As far as the ip67, im really dissatisfied with the clear casing they put on it. It's just the bare strip loose in a silicone type tube with the ends glued shut. All it'd need is a pin hole and the thing would fill up with moisture. I think i will find a different seller.

The media could not be loaded. Very bright, and the protective cover over them seems very durable. It does not have a sticky back, so consider that before you buy, but you can easily put them up anywhere with double-sided alien tape. The TOP strip is this brand; the two panels are another brand. The strips are power-injected, but there was not much of a difference when they ran off the controller alone. I would highly recommend them.
