Used these as an upgrade on a very old forklift truck (so old it had a pull stop cable until I fitted a solenoid). Beam is extremely bright and focussed, although so far only tested in dusk not true night time.The only downside is the amount of slack on the pivot point where the lamp mounts to the bracket, in order to get them locked into position you have to tighten up the bolt so it deforms the bracket.

So, these (round work lights) were to go on a budget race bike for a 24hr race coming up.. on opening the box I was impressed with the quality..Quick test on a battery and they appeared to be very bright.. mount brackets are a little cheapy and don't fit all that well (bit too wide between the tangs for the light) but nip up and hold them ok..At night, my brother reckons they put out a really good spread of light..These are work lights so it's a flood pattern.. so you couldn't use them as headlamps etc..Will update as soon as the race has been done with how they survive the vibes and being on for several hours....
