Overall, the case has been working wonderfully for me!The colour is exactly what I hoped it to be, and the silver buttons on the side compliment the black trim really well. The textured surface is wonderful for handling but the pattern isn't so large it detracts from the look of the case.It's been incredibly durable in the months I've used it, with very few cosmetic issues here and there despite what it's gone through (I haven't been very gentle). Only noticeable damage is some minor scuffs on the corners and along the edges of the outer shell, and the one problem I do have with the case so far. The paint of the silver buttons has started to flake off, meaning it no longer has the beautiful shine it's kept so well up until now. It's absolutely the least of my worries when it comes to integrity, but I really did like the shine of the buttons against the dark colors of the rest of case, so I was sad to see the shine was slowly flaking away. The buttons can be a little loud sometimes because of the way they wiggle around, but it's such a minor thing I don't mind it, I'm just really glad they're so clicky and responsive. The size and shape of the cutout for the fingerprint scanner is also a wonderful bonus, its very nice to use and the rounded edges of everything are great. The way the bottom slopes into the sensor is also very very nice, really helps guide the finger into its spot.Been a wonderful case and I'm very glad I got it! Hope it'll carry my phone for the next few years.

I normally use an Otterbox case. This came in my favorite color so I decided to try it and now, a year or more later, it looks just like new and has seen many falls and accidents. It has held up great and I trust it to protect my phone from damage. Fits snugly and hasn't stretched out.

This is a decent phone case that protects my phone pretty well from regular drops. I have had some pretty rough drops, and am always holding my breath that the phone did not break - and it hasn't so far! Not only does it function well, it looks nice. The rubbery material helps it not to slide around too much, but also isn't too rubbery/sticky. Can still slide it in and out of my pocket without it pulling at the cloth. Highly recommend.

I like the physical buttons, I like how sturdy the case feels, and I like the color options there were. When I first put the case on it was a little slick, but after a few days it feels pretty grippy.

The case has a very nice but subtle texture that makes holding the phone effortless and I really like the little detail with the touch sensor on the back having a slope near the bottom so it's not a hassle to try to get my finger onto the sensor

It's exactly what I needed for my Pixel 5a phone. It fits well and the buttons for power and volume are sturdy. I highly recommend it.

I liked the look of this case in pictures, and liked it even more in person. The color and texture suited my tastes. I have had a lot of luck using a similar "2-layer" case, with and without frames. However, this case did not protect my brand new Pixel 5a from a fall of 2.5 feet from a bathroom vanity onto the tile floor. The phone landed squarely on it's face. Neither the tempered glass protector (purchased separately), the screen, or the body had any visible damage, but the phone display and input digitizer stopped working completely. Google repair services noted that the screen was "cracked" (internally I guess as I could not see it). I had my prior phone (OnePlus 3t) for 4 years in a Spigen case of similar design, which was dropped dozens of times onto hard surfaces. It could have been bad luck, and maybe no case would save a Google Pixel 5a from this scenario, but at $140/repair (and not having your phone for 2-3weeks), I would recommend a more substantial case.

My phone has taken several falls since I got this and my device has stayed safe and undamaged!
