Worth it, no regrets
Love this pot, easy to clean, and no heat transfer to the handles when draining. The inner pot does scuff easily but it's not impacting performance. Lid is easy to clean!

Excellent pasta pot
Perfect pot for cooking pasta; the lid makes draining the water so easy. Cleans easily. No regrets on this purchase.

Cyrder Stainless Steel Pasta Pot
The pot I used for pasta was old, aluminum and the bottom was a bit warped so it never sat level on the stove. This was fine back when I had a gas stove, but dealing with a glass-top electric is not so great. I also like to use an induction countertop cooker as well, so I wanted one that would work with that as well. This has some added features with the lid which makes it great for pasta, and other foods you would want to strain, although spaghetti can sometimes slip partially out when straining, overall it does a great job. On the electric it does wonderful, but the induction (and I think this might be more the induction cooker over the pan itself) it doesn't work as well for boiling water for pasta and takes quite a long time.It is stainless steel so stuff can stick to it (leaving the pasta in the pan without water and letting it dry) and is more annoying to get off, but this is true of any stainless steel pan/pot. The pan is sturdy and the lid makes it great for straining, or even when just cooking.

Drains perfectly, exactly what I was wanting from a pot.
I purchased this pot to replace an older, non-stick one I'd been using for pastas and soups. I use a glass countertop stove as that is what my apartment complex provided. I've noticed that not only does this heat water faster than my old pot did, it does so much more evenly and cooks pasta more easily. I would have to constantly stir the pasta the entire time it cooked in the old pot to get it anywhere near as good as how it cooks in this one.I've seen others complain about the dual-spigot strainer and while I admit I was disappointed at first in seeing that feature as I had been trying to avoid it, it turns out that at least in my experience I've had zero issues with steam coming out the other end while I drain the water. Neither did my husband, and he did it without a shirt on and he has a chronic pain issue that makes him especially vulnerable. This may be just our experience so take that with a grain of salt, but it wasn't a real issue. The lock performs its duty perfectly and this is so much easier than how I used to try to drain pasta. The only downside is that you have to let it cool entirely before you can clean it or else you run the risk of deforming the metal and/or breaking it down with the soap that you use. And it seems like it requires a lot of hand scrubbing to clean.Other than that it serves exactly the purpose I wanted. A solid product.

Perfect.
I've always liked self straining lids. My smaller, 20 year old pot with a locking straining lid had to be replaced due to condition of the silicon handles. Self straining pots were hard to find. I first bought a 3 qt saucepan, but the long handle and having to hold the lid in place worked, but was difficult to use due to my arthritis. I wasn't sure how this bigger pot would work. It was PERFECT! The handle design made it very easy to use. I can now cook larger of pasta and not have to use a colander, something else to wash. Also will work on an induction cooktop, which is what I'd like to replace my current one with. Strongly recomend!

Pot came dented at bottom
Pot came dented in on the bottom side about the size of a half dollar. The box looked torn at the tab at the entrance flap. I was definitely sold and shipped a used, damaged product.
