Grip 11 pc Jumbo Combo Wrench Set MM

If you like the professional tool trucks you dont need to read this. But if you need tools that work and you dont want to be gouged just to buy them then these tools are for you. The tools feel good to use and while using it for its intended purpose, it works perfect. It comes with a case that sucks ass but if you leave them in your tool chest, then it doesnt really matter does it?! Also for the price, to buy one or two of these wrenches alone costs the same as the whole set. I bought Both the metric and standard wrenches so you should too.

I bought this after a budget set from a different brand I tried cut my hand on the rough edges, causing me to inspect more closely and finding the measurements were either too big or too small. That set was returned to buy this one. The first indication that this may be a budget set is the black finish. It's tempting to think that it was the cheap way out instead of chrome, but you could think about it as a legitimate choice, like black impact sockets. Also, I have some tools with chrome so poor that it peels off in sharp flakes, risking cuts every time I use them, so a good black finish is better than a poor chrome finish. Whatever the color, I didn't get cut by these wrenches, and the metal does not appear rough, pitted, and gouged like the other brand I returned. I did find one of the box ends to look bent at a different angle than the other wrenches, so not perfect (see picture). The measurements on the open end aren't too bad, most about right and a few just a little big.34 34.5535 35.6536 36.7538 38.340 40.541 41.242 42.3544 44.4546 46.448 48.550 50.35It appears that the 34 and 35 mm are the same base wrench, and also the 40 and 41 mm. These wrenches aren't as long as more expensive sets, but still respectable at 17.5" for the 34 mm on up to 24" for the 50 mm. They are thicker than the brand I returned, the box end on the 34 mm being 18.6 mm thick, and the open end 12.4 mm thick. To show the inconsistencies, however, the larger 35 mm wrench compared to the 34 mm is thinner at the box end, measuring 17.4 mm thick, but thicker at the open end, measuring 13.3 mm. The 50 mm wrench is 16.5 mm thick at the open end and 21.6 mm at the box end.Unlike another set of wrenches I have that spill out of the pouch every time I pick it up, the pouch included with these wrenches holds them well. It does have a few small tears right out of the box, so it probably won't last long if you use it on the go, but it does have grommets for hanging on the wall, so perhaps residing stationary in your shop it will last a little while.These wrenches aren't perfect, but have good quality for a good price. The set I received was made in China.

This jumbo wrench set has come in handy several time since it was purchased. Difficult to find the large sizes of metric wrenches, this set fit the bill.
