I bought this to keep my dog out of the spare room. He likes to sleep on the white bedspread and I don’t like to keep the door closed. Works great.

Would not stay up holders fell off the wall also too high from the floor . Will not use it . I have to get a new one but different one.will never day this item again I want my money back . This makes me mad that it was sooooooo bad.

Took my dog 2 days to figure out she could paw the bottom elastic loop off of its hook. She doesn't destroy things, and a very short simple wooden baby gate just leaning against a doorway is enough for her to stay self contained alone all day. But bought two of these mesh gates to put vertically in 2 doorways from floor to over waist-high for a more long-term option that she wouldn't be able to jump or push over if she wanted. Not sure why but once she figured out the loop would come off it was over. But my BIGGEST beef with this is the adhesive hooks!! They don't have any kind of pull-tab to the super strong adhesive on the back, AKA no way to easily/ safely remove them once they're on, SO IT DAMAGED MY WALLS AND TOOK OFF PAINT when I very gently tried to pull them up. Very poor design. The gates themselves are a great idea and seem well made, but I HIGHLY recommend using some other adhesive hooks that come with the pull-tabs like Command strips or such.

This did not stay in my walls well at all..came out in a matter of days! And we used the adhesive AND the screws. Ripped the paint straight off too.My big dogs (husky and shepherd) stayed behind but definitely tried pushing past it. And the chihuahuas laughed at it and squeezed through the holes on the side.. I wasted my money buying this and I bought 2 so... deficit will be using a normal baby gate now! It might be good for... idk... something else but definitely not for what it's advertised for.

I gave this 4 stars because it does what I needed it to. There is about a 2-3 in gap at the bottom of the barrier. You can stick it to the floor and not have a gap. If sticking it to the floor, the adhesive may damage your floor. I like that the adhesive is strong. Mine is not. It pulled off my wall already with slight pressure and nothing happened to my paint. I’d rather it damage paint than my floor. However, regardless of how you set it up, clever pets and even babies can squeeze under. This is not meant to serve as a safety gait. This is just a barrier that can be broken! It serves the purpose I needed it for.

My dog no longer snacks in the litter box. Flexible enough for kitties to scoot right under.

This gate is one of the few times where I purchased something and really felt like I got an excellent deal on a good quality product. I purchased this gate to keep our pandemic puppy (7 week old golden retriever mix) out of our dining room. The gate works really well across the doorway opening between the kitchen and the dining room. I do not know if the gate would work well across a larger span (due to sagging in the middle). It is now almost 2 years later and the gate is still standing (puppy is now 75 pounds). I really like that the gate is see through…makes it much less noticeable. The hooks are still firmly adhered to the walls (even after almost 3 years of hooking and unhooking them). If you had a large dog that was very determined to get through I’m sure that it could but for a well trained pup this gate is a very effective deterrent (our pup tried to go under the gate a few times and she couldn’t do it). A++++. Highly recommend.

This is NOT a desired product or result. There is a physical, WEAK barrier attached by a thin loop to a plastic attachment that is stick on, or screw in. This was the very reason I bought it, and for a visual "don't cross" for trained dogs, it works well.But even an untrained dog can and will push through this. If you are lucky and the clip/hook doesn't break or come off the attachment point, the mesh is so thin it will break/rip in short order.Mine is a service dog, but large breed. Belgian Malinois. Well behaved but still young and excitable. She see's the barrier and respects it. Most of the time. If she wants to get past and the desire overcomes the training, IE one of her family walks into the office, she will plow right through it and this wont even slow her down. Luckily that is a rare event, and she is well trained.I had anticipated a better quality material and hooks, but it IS exactly what I ordered and was not expensive. So buy with consideration to your REAL needs, not anticipated quality. It works for my dog. Most of the time.
