Q: Can this be used on a ceiling to cover edge of panel ?

Yes, It can. Make sure you use the iron at max. temperature to be able to melt the glue for maximum bond.

Q: Can I apply glue without ironing

The adhesive is a “hot melt” already applied to the tape. This is a really good product with superb results applied correctly. You can get an iron for about $10.

Q: I'm planning on using this for a kids project where they will glue it down. Does it need the heat in order to lay flat?

Depends on how long the piece is I would guess.

Q: Will it work on 3/4 plywood ?

Absolutely. Get it hot with an iron and make sure it is pressed down on the plywood edge.
