Exactly the same as the older model
Bought this because the older model I had is no longer supported by the company. This one is exactly the same as the older model. It uses the same Ethernet wire and adapter as the older model. So, I just unplugged the older device and plugged in this one without changing the Ethernet wire and power adapter. Once plugged in, it automatically connects. Took me 10 seconds in total. I didn’t notice any improvement on the quality of the picture and/or sounds. So, the company’s claim that this is an upgrade with better qualities is not true.

HTV Chinese Box
My father's HTV Chinese box that I got for him 2 years ago gave him a message that his box will no longer worked in 7 days. I tried to find a replacement and found that there are a lot more different products out there than two years ago including codes you can purchase to allow an old box to work. I decided to get this A3 box and hope for the best. They shipped it quicky and it had all the same apps as on his old box and my dad was able to see his favorite Chinese shows again. I think in a year or two, I will have to pay for a code or buy a new box but at least there is a website and telephone number on the back of the box to call for service and renew this time; have not tried to contact them but hope they will response when I do. Very happy with purchase.

Received the Box in a week from ordering. Great product with many movie and TV program choices.
Wish instructions for set up and programing could be in English and more Cantonese programs offered. Hookup and connections were still easy enough for a layman.

Drama movies are not complete
This is the worst box that I have. I usually get a new box every 3 years because the subscription expired. Since the tvpad came out. This will be my fourth box. I usually watch Cantonese drama. And the movie from this box. All the drama movies that I watched have missing chapters. So far the movies that I watched have at least 5 unwatchable chapters. I even tried on different days. Still the same chapters don’t work. And this box. They took out a lot of the Disney cartoons that my kid usually watch. So now my kid doesn’t even turn it on anymore.
