Does not control voltage
Installed the rv and started cart motor in neutral. Sped the motor and watched voltage on a multimeter. Voltage went to 14.5 and then kept going. At 16.5 I turned off the motor. Now I have rent a cart tomorrow to play golf.

JUNK DID NOT WORK.
ORDER ONE OF THESE FROM ANOTHER CO. IT WAS NO GOOD, SO ORDERED TWO MORE FROMTHIS SUPPLIER IN HOPES OF GETTING AT LEAST ONE TO WORK THEY BOTH FAILED ALSO. THINK THEY ALL COME FROM SAME SUPPLIER IN CHINA AND ARE ALL JUNK. WITH AS MANY NEG REVIEWS WHY DO THEY KEEP SELLING THIS PRODUCT.

Worked at first-then it didn’t
Despite the previous reviews where others had issues reporting the VR was faulty-charging higher than it should, I went ahead and made the purchase. It worked fine for about a month. After that, the VR was not regulating the voltage and was allowing a higher voltage range than what my battery allows. I have a 12 volt battery for a gas powered 2016 Yamaha golf cart. The VR was passing 17+ volts.

Regulator worked well
Regulator worked well. Mounted fine. The plug is not as well made as the original and had to be prayed apart a little to get it plugged in. It worked so I’m happy.
