Inside The Waistband Leather Holster - 1.5" Metal Belt Clip - Designed for Concealed Carry Comfort - Good for Multiple Concealed Carry Positions - Comfortable Holster for IWB Carry

I received this holster earlier today and was excited to try it out. It is an almost perfect holster with one major flaw (at least for me)...and big enough that I had to dock 2 stars.The quality is top-notch, no questions there. I really love the quality of the water buffalo leather used and its patina. Reminds me of my worn in RL leather belt with soft/supple leather that still maintains its shape; hard to describe as this is much of a visual and tactile experience.It does fit my HK P30SK like a glove. The problem comes with the clip. Although it is a metal clip, because it is one that has just an "indent" at the bottom to hold everything in place, the angle of the bend is in the wrong direction (down, rather than at a 45-degree upward towards the waistband/belt). This problem becomes very apparent when I go to draw the firearm from the holster. Every single time, the holster came out with the gun (i.e. still attached). As you can imagine, this would not be good in (god forbid) a situation where I'd actually need the firearm. So for me, it's a reliability and safety/functional issue that I think a different design in the lip of the metal clip would completely solve. I'll be looking out for future versions...while sending this one back for now. Thanks!

Amazing product! Very sturdy but also isn’t stiff, has that already worn in type of feel. It’s not bulky and thick, fits in the inner band of my pants comfortably and can be worn in multiple places. I was using a concealed carry waistband and although it worked great, come summertime I will need something that won’t make me sweat, and something that won’t be bulky and stand out under tighter clothing. I am very happy with this product, I’d definitely get it if you’re thinking about it, you won’t be disappointed. Customer service is amazing with this company!

First off, the leather is really nice, soft, and has good retention. The belt clip is a bit stiff and I find it difficult to attach to my belt / waistband. This might loosen up a bit with more use. The holster is very comfortable and easy to wear and walk around in. I carry appendix so comfort is what I'm all about, which is why I choose leather over kydex.Now for the not so good. When carrying the holster in my hand and when putting the holster in my pants with the gun already in the holster, I have gripped and squeezed the gun/holster in such a way where the magazine button got pushed and that popped the mag out. It may be me the way I'm holding it that causes this to happen, however it's happened several times. The leather holster covers the mag release. If it were cut out around the mag release then this might not happen. This is the only thing about this holster that I'm not happy about. But for the quality and price I'm going to keep the holster and try and grip the gun/holster in a different place.

This IWB holster rides a little too high for easy concealment. Very nice, high quality leather. Just wish they had stitched the belt attachment an inch and a half higher so weapon would be lowered, and more hidden. I still use, but must use more caution to keep concealed, especially in less free states.

I bought this Muddy River leather holster for my Sig Sauer SP2022 pistol. I wasn't sure if I received the correct holster or not as the package came with no label of any sort. Just the company Logo and website info.The holster fits tightly on the pistol and will stretch to accommodate the shape in time. The steel belt clip is good with a slight cant. The muzzle of the pistol is flush with the open bottom of the holster. The holster is fairly sturdy split grain leather. There is no added leather band around the top to maintain the opening. It also has a sweat shield extension on the top inside.The one serious problem with the holster is that the inside top edge was not cut from the factory to go around the magazine release button on the left grip side of the pistol. That is a serious problem. You do not want your magazine ejecting onto the ground when you twist or bend. It was easily solved with a sharp xacto knife. I imagine this holster was designed to fit an array of different brand pistols with similar shape and size. That is no excuse for the improper fit around the magazine release. This holster could use just a bit more refinement before selling it to fit this pistol. For that reason, it gets 3 stars.

When I first opened the package I was disappointed. Maybe i thought the leather would've been somewhat thicker but it wasn't. Once I put my 43x in the holster all that went away. It feels great holstering it on my side while being concealed perfectly. The extra leather length to compensate for the rear slide of the gun works out perfect and keeps it from binding or pinching on the skin. Also comes with a sticker & who doesn't like stickers.

Three of the most important things in a concealed carry holster are comfort, ease of concealment, and accessibility. This holster has all three of those, plus it looks great, the leather is quality. I got this to replace a We The People kydex holster and it’s FAR more comfortable. I thought the lack of a holster claw would make it harder to conceal, but because of the lower profile and flexible material it’s actually easier. Not to mention the price on this one was very low for the product you get for it, and some other companies charge upwards of sixty bucks for something like this. Very impressed with Muddy River and hoping that they have OWB holsters.
