What type of leads come with the unit, i. e. alligator/pin probe?

Jack, if you wanted to use pin probes they would attach to the alligator clips. The leads on the unit are about 20" long anyway.

I work on old Amps, can it test 350 volt & 450 volt capacitors.this question is pertaining to the Atlas ESR 70

As others have mentioned, it can test those capacitors if they are in their discharged state.The manufacturers specs say - it can auto discharge up to +/- 50v and for a cap that is less than 10uF the absolute maximum it can withstand is +/- 275v, over 10uF that is +/- 50v

Can this unit be used to test capacitors in circuit (without unsoldering)?

Atlas ESR can be used in the circuit. For this reason, also be measured without removing the capacitor from the substrate. Of course, even if you test a capacitor is removed from the circuit, can be measured.
