Can the steam mop clean ground in dirt out of the tile grout?

No, but if you go to Home Depot they sell an attachment for a pole (you will have to get the pole if you don’t have one) for cleaning grout. A spray bottle 50/50 of water and ammonia and this brush cleans floor grout. Use the steam mop to wipe the dirt brought up and after cleaning all the grout and wiping change pads and mop again. Doesn’t take much effort. You don’t need to do this every time you mop as unlike a regular mop it doesn’t leave dirty water behind.

i have arthritis in my fingers....is the "trigger" hard to pull? Do you have to hold the trigger? Is this hard for someone 80 years old to use?

There is not a "trigger" to pull to produce steam in this particular Shark. The handle is pumped by the force of moving the steam mop back and forth while mopping the floors. If you are able to push and pull with the action of your arm, and still able to hold the handle with your hand as you would with a 'normal' mop, you should find this steam mop to be marvelous.

are the cleaning pads reuasable/washable?

Yes....you can also get replacement pads but they are a bit pricey for what they are...two are nearly 40% the price of the complete unit. It works fairly well on tile but doesn't really get into grout. I figure you need a professional steam cleaner that can put out a lot more steam to get in the grout. I had a professional do it once and it worked but was quite a process and took at least an hour of hard work for them to get my large kitchen grout clean. I think the next time I have this done I will seal the grout so it resists grime soaking in better.

Will the Shark Steam pocket mop clean grout from wear and tear on my ceramic tile floors?

The most success I have had with our very dirty grout is by using a (spray) carpet cleaner liquid. I let it soak a few hours and then use a dry brush, rinse in hot water. I use a rag to clean the rest. Then I mop as usual.

Not for UK voltage

Little bit disappointed. I know that this is a great tool as I had it before in US so when moved to UK decided to buy it again. Got too excited and unpacked everything but when noticed US plug I checked the user guide and this one is not for UK voltage- it’s for 110V-120V which is mentioned in the description but not easy to find. This one should not be sold in UK!

Plus isnt a UK plug

Be careful with this product as i bought mine a while ago whilst Iwas having work done, went to use it the other dat only to realise that it was a foreign plug and I cannot find an adapter so that I can use in uK. what a joke

Returned.

The product was delivered more than a week early. It came to the UK from America and had an American electrical plug on it so had to be returned as it was unusable. Possibly American voltage as well. It probably worked OK but will never know. Hopefully, the refund will go smoothly.

Double the effort, poor results

Have to scrub with this steam mop over and over and over again and still can’t get rid of the simple dirt marks off the floor. Double the effort & poor results. I had to use an old fashion mop after using this shark steam mop, to clean up all the dirt marks that this didn’t clean up.
