My Heating isn't working right now , and the 3 storage heaters need to be replaced. I needed a good heater that i can use right now and keep as a backup, i picked this one as it has a remote control and it was powerful enough. to be used in any of my medium sized rooms. As a stand alone turn on turn off heater its excellent, it warms up quickly and quietly there is no banging sounds from the oil inside like ive seen with some others. I has a timer which for me isn't any use , as it is so basic, you can set it to stay on for a specified amount of hours , however you cannot set it to come on a certain time or power level , so i dont use it.I use this heater to quickly and thoroughly warm up my lounge either during the night when it is less expensive or if I'm feeling chilly.The controls are very simple set the mode , (power level) and set the temp (Celsius) , its default is the most powerful mode and the highest temp, which is what is set when you first turn it on , which is a shame as it stopped me from using it with a smart plug and Alexa or Google,For such a modern looking Heater the built i software is very dated and basic, but if you can get past that and if your like me and manually turn it on and set the temp , then this is excellent.I spoke to the sellers who are excellent and very helpful and helped me very much with the issues i had with it (basically the instruction leaflet is awful)if you want to heat a medium sized to large room then this is a great choice, if you need a 24hour timer then maybe you can look elsewhere

Received today, super fast free one day delivery even though I don't have prime account?Packaged well, seems a good quality unit sofar.I tested it out on low power @ 25 degrees. After a few mins or so you got a good heat going on. It operates quietly,, The heat lasts a good while after you turn it off also.I can tell this is definitely going to help me out this winter as my room gets sooo cold and it will blow my crappy fan heater out of the water.The only thing I can moan about so far is the manual could be a bit clearer on the following;What way round to put the wheels onto the base plate, it is simply not clear, so I chose one way and discovered it was the other way or the u bend bit will not attach as too much distance. (See my photo for what way it should be done if u buy this, might save 10 mins of your life).The timer instructions are vague(I probably won't use timer anyway as these type of products I'd rather be awake/present if it is on).The power settings bit in the manual is vague also, I have to assume the more fins the 3 sun icons has on the unit means greater power, ok is logical thinking, but confirm in the manual and not leave me to be guessing about it(ps. it seems to default to max power if u put to standby and back on, would rather it remember my previous selection).The remote. Is ok but u have to be within 1 meter range for it to pick up the presses so pretty much defeats the object. Is quicker to just press the button onit than search for remote and then have to be within 1 meter to zap it.One last moan up, the power cord could be a bit longer than 1 meter especially as the instructions state not to use with an extension lead.I still give 4 star as it does what I wanted it todo, heat my room and I don't give much doo-dars about the timer/remote. If the manual had a bit more depth/make more sense I would have given a 5 star.___________________________Warning to any buyers this unit does get very hot to touch so please be double careful if you got young children/pets around and make sure its in a sensible place away from bedsheets/curtains etc.

We had a few issues putting the feet on this. The instructions provided didn't seem to bear much relation to the parts we had! There were a couple of random pictures which gave a clue in the end. Once assembled we found the heater to work really well. It is intended for the cold spare room and I forsee it doing well there. As it happened we first used it to heat the main living area while a new heating system was being fitted, and were amazed how well it coped with such a big area. We were actually comfortably warm within a few minutes. We have not tried the remote control or timers so cannot comment on those. As with all these heaters it seems you cannot use an extension lead which sort of limits where you can site it, especially with the very short lead. Generally extremely satisfied with it. Hope it keeps on working.

I needed this as our heating wasn't working. We set it in the doorway between the kitchen and living room and it kept both rooms pretty warm. Putting it in either room with the door closed was actually as warm as the proper radiator.I now have it permanently in the kitchen as we don't have a radiator in there but I do have my very elderly cat in his bed. So it is now on low, most of the day, and keeps the kitchen cosy for old Pete, and the rest of us too.

I needed an additional heater in a double bedroom as the radiators were not working. This oil filled radiator ticked all the boxes but had no reviews so I wasn't 100% sure about the purchase. I wasn't disappointed, it heats up the double bedroom quickly and well. Delivery was fine via DPD not prime. The remote is handy as you don't need to get out of bed to switch on the heater! There is a small amount of assembly required (fitting the wheels).The only thing missing was the handbook but I contacted the seller and they sent via email so had it right away.

UPDATERefund received with minimum fuss, well done Monhouse.thank you We’ve just started using this heater and it’s no use whatsoever, keeps blowing the trip switch, everything else works on the same power point so it’s not a problem related to our supply. I have written to the supplier and am awaiting a response, watch this space…..

I purchased 2 of these radiators as my previous ones (another brand) started to leak. These ones are very easy to use with a basic remote control if you need it. Gets warm quickly. 1 of my radiators arrived with a dent in it. The supplier dispatched another immediately - very good service!
