Most bang for your buck... Can't go wrong with this one
Sennheiser once again proved me that hands down is the go-to brand when you want reliability, affordable prices and most importantly quality. I did my fair research about this product in comparison with other brands and other headsets from sennheiser but I didn't expect to truly be blown away by it since I've owned sennheiser products over the years and well I'm used to them but this time around was the first I had a much fancier and bulkier headset for gaming and I'm very glad I chose this particular one. Ear cups are super comfortable and don't put any pressure on my ears or skull after hours of use, sound quality is just right for everyday use from long gaming sessions to just listening to music and videos, so don't get me wrong I'm sure plenty of you would rather pick studio quality headphones for all audiophiles out there and that is ok however if you are looking specifically for a gaming headset that doesn't compromise sound quality over comfort and gaming branded addons then this headset gets everything right, from size to volume to even how crisp the microphone is. This product guys I'm telling you is a decision you won't regret making and for the ones wondering what type of earcup cushions, these are open-ear (cloth) meaning you get plenty of sound coming from inside but you will not be 100% isolated from the outside world and possible noises that come from it so keep that in mind. For me its fine since I constantly have to talk to roommates and therefore I need to notice when I'm being spoken to.

You can't lose with Sennheiser
These Sennheiser PC 360's did what the Sennheiser HD-280's couldn't and that was offer a larger sound stage due to the open back design. The ear pads also allow me hours of gaming with no discomfort and the mic is perfect. I've used quite a few brands when it comes to headphones for gaming. AKG, Denon, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamics, and more. I really love the sound Sennheiser offers as it seems to re-create the most accurate sound. Quality bass, impressive mid-range, and high frequency isn't annoyingly distracting. For those needing a quality headset that don't sacrifice when it comes to the heapdhones, these are it.UPDATE: When using these to record, the open cans leak far too much sound to keep the recording quality from hearing slight playback of the sound. While I understand recording with a pair of open headphones is not smart, it's a deal breaker for those maybe considering that for streaming or recording.

Great sound quality but a warning about the microphone
I got this headset almost two years ago and for the most part I love it. The sound is great and it's comfortable for me. The one big issue I had with this headset is that the microphone snapped off on mine. The mic seems to not be the most high quality and durable plastic and jt snapped off where the rubber meets the plastic closest to the ear cup. Also, before it broke, I had used the mic in discord and games for about a year and I had a lot of issues with static sounds and being too loud or too quiet. I could never usually have a day where the mic didn't have some sort of issue. However since I was planning on upgrading to a desktop mic I'm fine with this and I've completely removed the microphone from the headset and now just use them as headphones.Overall very recommended due to sound quality but be wary of the mic if you're rough on your headsets.

Amazing comfort and sound quality.
These headphones have exceptional comfort. They fit over your ears and rest against your skull with just enough pressure to keep them in place. The padding is a felt like material and is very soft, with lots of cushion underneath. The top of the band also has a thick, soft felt patch on it as well. These are the most comfortable headphones I've ever used, they can be worn for hours without any pain or feeling hot. I use them for gaming and music. Sound quality is excellent, and the microphone works perfectly. Being able to flip up the mic to mute is very convienent, as is the volume control mounted on the right side ear piece. I originally bought my pair in November of 2011. They have held up great the last 6 years. You will not be disappointed if you purchase these.

Great sound, not so great comfort (updated)
I'm by no means an audiophile, but these headphones sound great to me. I've used them for gaming and listening to music, and the difference in clarity between them and my other pair of $30 skull candy headphones is huge. The mic sounds fine and the volume wheel on the right ear cup is very convenient and usable. However, the clamping force on these is way too tight. They give me a headache if I wear them for longer than thirty minutes to an hour, so unless I find some way to fix that, they're just not worth wearing and I've frequently been going back to my old pair as a result. Comfort is key, which is unfortunate since I wanted so badly to have a five star product with these.UPDATE: I've been able to "stretch" these out a bit by keeping them clamped over something wider than my head when I'm not using them, and it's taken a while for it to be effective but the pressure is significantly less than it was and they're much better to wear now. I'm raising the rating to four stars.

which is a comfortable pair of headphones that deliver great
This is my long-term review of the Sennheiser PC 360, after about 11 months of usage (purchased on the 18th of December, 2016).The Sennheiser PC 360 Special Edition delivers a lot of what Sennheiser is known for, which is a comfortable pair of headphones that deliver great, balanced sound. Having owned a pair of Steelseries Siberia Elites as my headphones prior to the PC360s, I can say that - compared to the Steelseries - the PC360's open-back design offers much clearer sound, much more detail and more strongly pronounced mid-tones. After comparing the two with the same songs, there are extra notes and sounds that the PC360 outputs clearly, which either are very muted or drowned out by the heavier bass of headphones like the Siberia Elites, for example. As is the nature of open-back headphones, though, outside sound is not blocked out as effectively, and thus this is not a good headset to use if you intend to use them in an environment with a lot of outside noise. Overall, the audio quality of the PC 360s is fantastic, especially for this price range, and the bass response is more than good enough if one is inclined to add bass through a software equalizer. In terms of design, the PC 360 does not strut, but nonetheless has a nice, neutral design, with comfortable velvet ear pads (which are the best 'breathing' pads I have ever used, and will keep the area around one's ears cool and dry), and a Sennheiser logo displayed beneath the perforated grill that sits on the outer side of the cups, which gives it a nice, sophisticated, slightly 'industrial' look. One thing to mention with the velvet ear pads - as ridiculously comfortable as they are - is the nature of the material itself, which can more easily (compared to typical leather ear pads) be rubbed broken eventually (such as if you wear glasses and the 'arms' - i.e. the temple part - rubs against them), as shown in the picture. The velvet material of the ear pads also collects hair, but this is not a huge issue, and never hinders performance in any way.One of the more notable aspects of the PC 360 is the huge microphone, ever-present in all shots of the PC 360. Among headphone microphones, the PC 360's is probably the best I have ever used (in terms of audio quality); this comes with a slight caveat though, which is the fact that the microphone can not be hidden; it can be pulled up (which also mutes the mic), but there is no sliding mechanism to hide it into the cup, nor is the microphone detachable. The microphone, thus, doesn't look great for usage outside, with its huge microphone sitting next to the left ear cup, but in terms of usability, it goes out of the way and is never a bother. The volume controls on the right ear cup follow a similar design philosophy, and are changed with a round dial, which is easy to get used to, and which never gets in the way.The headset is made of plastic, making the headset light, but without much of a 'premium feel'. However, after almost a full year of usage, the headset has not suffered from physical damage, after having been through numerous drops, and one house move. The ear pads also don't extend around the edges of the cups, and thus there is no extra wear-and-tear on the pads from pulling or rubbing; after almost a whole year of using the PC 360s every day, the ear pads are still firmly attached to the rest of the headset and show no signs of tearing off or coming loose at the edge where the ear pads connect to the ear cups (which has been an issue on almost every previous headset I've owned). The headset comes in a very minimalist and great-looking box, and has a long cable that is sure to be long enough for any computer set-up. If there is anything additional the headset could use, it is perhaps a detachable cable and the ability to switch out ear pads (seen on some newer headsets). Overall, though, the PC 360 is a great offering at its price, marrying Sennheiser's fantastic, rich sound with one of the best headset microphones on the market.

Also wirklich begeistert. Also Headset umgetauscht, dank Amazon ein problemloser Vorgang.

Take my money now!
Had these on my watch list for some time and when they came in at some crazy low, less than half price kind of deal, I hit the "take my money" button without any hesitation.I have used Sennheisers for ~20 years now and am a big fan for music, gaming and work. I have in-ear as well as full size headphones ... my whole family use them and I have to admit I do try to push the bar with each new pair I buy ... and these just take things to a whole new level.I have some ~10 year old HD 515's which still work perfecly and I always thought sounded amazing, but the rich base and unbelievable clarity of these 360's really is quite stunningly pleasing ... makes my older 515's sound almost muted and muffled, which I never thought possible, but when compared back to back, you really do hear a huge difference.I actually just wanted a comfortable and decent headset with a microphone for long work skype calls etc, but these have totally replaced my old 515 headphones for everything, including music, gaming etc ... 2 into 1 / PS4 connector is a great addition as it matches nicely and very useful on laptop, telephone, tablet etc ... and of course PS4's.Other notes ...- volume control is really useful, especially when switching between different apps such as music and skype calls - can increase or decrease volume very quickly, especially useful if something kicks in super loud- microphone is excellent, lots of clarity and very sensitive, lifting up mutes it and has enough adjustment fore and aft to get comfortable or avoid breathe on microphone issues.- "Open ear" means that you can hear yourself talk so don't end up shouting, and can also carry on conversations with other people in the room quite naturally without having to remove them ... although the open ear does mean that when you crank the volume up other people also hear what you are listening to ... so would not say its good for public transport or loud areas (need something more noise cancelling oriented for that)- these require a little more "driving" than other headphones (ie lower headphone volume for any given volume level on your devices). Not found an issue yet where the device cannot supply enough volume to them, but worthy of a note, and hardly any sacrifice when you consider the sound quality of these beauties.- sadly Sennheiser do not supply a bag with these, luckily I have an old one, but would be nice, especially if anyone is paying full price for them. (would prefer a bag over the fancy packaging, which tbh is pretty useless unless you want to store your headphones in them every day (but then you would need to collapse the "headband" to its smallest settings to get them back in the box each time)- ear pads and foam is REALLY lush, almost feels wrong its so nice. I wear these for hours on end - they remain comfortable and do not cause overheating or any kind of sweaty ear syndrome.Summary ... forget all your "gaming" brands with their high price gimmicky "base-boost" blah blah and marketting hype - Sennheiser do one thing, and they do it amazingly well ... they make fantastic sounding headphones. At full price they are good, but if you find these on a half price deal like I did, then do not think, be like nike and "just do it!"
