Will this out perform the Eastwood powder coating gun? I mean bigger doesn't necessary doesn't mean better for parts like this.

Yes, it’s alot better. I have both. It goes to 100kv instead of 25kv for the eastwood. The powder flow is way better and everything is adjustable. The powder alot sticks alot better. Can’t go wrong with it. You should alot buy the 2lbs or the 1lb canister if you don’t intend to buy large amount of powder.

What are the best settings for the powder/air and how much psi going in?

the equipment has its own air regulator, usually it must to be set at 20 - 30 psi tops
