This essential oil has a fantastic fragrance and it is highly concentrated.My diffuser recommends using 2-3 drops of oil at a time. I prefer a very strong scent, so I've always used 8 drops of oil, instead of the recommended 2-3 drops. With this highly concentrated oil, I've found that I only need 6 drops instead of 8.I can't think of a better mixture of scents than coffee, chocolate, Bailey's, and almond! Within minutes of turning on my diffuser with this scent, my entire room smells like a high-end coffee shop.Here's the problem with this product. The bottle it comes in has a lid that is supposed to be child proof (one of those "squeeze while you turn" lids. However, it is very hard to get on and off, and it isn't airtight. The scent (and presumably small amounts of the oil) are constantly leaking out of the lid. I have to put it into an airtight container, or my room would constantly smell of this scent, even when I'm trying to use a different scent instead.

I can appreciate the marketing of this diffuser oil to associate different fragrances to different cities around the world. I think we can agree that this is what we wish New York smelled like. At any rate, I was very pleased with this particular scent combination. I found the chocolate to be very prominent with the sweetness of the sandalwood behind it. The coffee and Bailey's are very subtle and personally I would have rather had the coffee scent be more prominent. But that is a very minor complaint. The scent reminds me of shops that sell chocolate and other goodies. Something about it reminds me of my childhood as well. This is definitely a mood lifter for me. These oils are always packaged very nicely and would make excellent gifts. I highly recommend it!

I like this scent alright. It doesn't quite smell like a coffee shop, nor a chocolate shop, though it has notes of both. As a word of warning, the essential oil is very strong. I put about 5 drops in my diffuser and it perfumed my entire house. The bottle has a nice integrated dropper that I appreciated. Most of my other oils must be poured out of their bottles. This gives much more control.

I purchased a New York scent variety. It is a complex, interesting scent. I definitely smell chocolate and sandalwood mix. I like it because it is not floral, so it feels very different. Comes with a droplet applicator. I use it in a diffuser, and just one drop gives scent to a large room. Also includes a round box that keeps the scent contained while not in use.Ali Julia review
