The Danny Gatton T-Style Tele Pickup Set features dual blade T-Style pickups. It was inspired by Danny Gatton, one of best Tele guitarists to have lived. He wanted a new model of high-end replacement pickups as opposed to those that were merely variations on established designs or basic repair parts.Originally designed for Danny (and with Danny testing every step of the way) they have become the first choice of professional Tele players worldwide. The tone of these pickups can be described as absolutely vintage in character, but with greatly expanded fidelity. The lows, mids, and highs are all equal in strength, eliminating the thin, or "tinny" sound that is often a problem with Tele-styled guitars. The T-Neck is remarkable in that it can be adjusted so that its output is actually equal to the T-Bridge, thus solving the age-old Tele player's complaint: huge output differences between the bridge and neck pickups. While these pickups can be adjusted to greatly exceed the output level of stock pickups, the authentic Tele twang and snap is maintained, and any kind of noise, be it hum, hiss, or squeal, is completely eliminated. The T-Bridge features our unique "staggered-blade" design, common to all Joe Barden single coil sized bridge pickups for Strats and Teles. The staggered dual blade ensures balanced response on the outer strings. These pickups are the best imaginable for the instrument that originally defined the solid body electric guitar.T-Style pickups fit standard Tele body routs and require no modifications to the instrument. They utilize 4 conductor shielded cable to allow for any possible wiring combination and are supplied with wiring diagrams and mounting hardware to facilitate installation.

MIND BLOWING!!!
What a transformation! I am so happy I spent the extra money on these pick ups... They are in fact (in my opinion) the best thing you could do to for your Telecaster! FYI, my guitar now sleeps next to me where my wife used to be. They'll change your life...They did mine!

Best Ever Telecaster Pickup
Until Dec. 3, 2012 I owned three telecasters. Two with the Joe Barden Pickups. You will be astounded how loud these pickups are but still maintain the telecaster twang. I don't know if you know who Danny Gatton was, but if you don't, you should do yourself a favor and check him out. The "Humbler" is what his friends around the DC area called him and he was indeed a telecaster master. Gone to soon. His legacy lives in these pickups which he helped designed, therefore the name. You will not be disappointed. It will make you a better player because there is nothing that is hidden as far as mistakes go. You will hear them, along with tones that I never knew you could get out of the tele.
