This is a wonderful little drone and makes a brilliant introduction into learning how to fly. It is best suited to indoor use but can be used outside on a VERY calm day.All propellers are fully encased so no chance of causing any damage.It even has a little on-board camera. Quite low resolution but again allows the opportunity to learn how to hold the drone steady and take single shots or even video!The drone links to a phone or tablet via the Holy Stone app and the in-built WiFi.Battery life is rather short at around 5mins, but three are supplied together with USB charging. Recharging take around 40 minutesWhilst this is not the cheapest drone of this type, it is a superb and robust unit and well worth the extra.Thoroughly recommended.

This is a fun little gadget. Quite easy to get set up. It is very lightweight though. We took it for a test spin in the garden with an ever so light. Reece and it would not stay under control. It ended up diving into the bush, which it survived!Luckily the propellers are covered to protect them. Next Flight was indoors and this was much better. It was fun to practice with and to chase the kids about when they were hiding. Camera quality is good overall. Battery life is short but you have three batteries with it. Fun to practice with inside.

Wow what a super little drone. I was not sure what to expect for such a low cost, but I was really very pleased. I like that it’s really easy to fly, so good for my young son to play with as well as good fun for me too!The stunts work really well and the quality of the camera is excellent even when compared to bigger more expensive drones.I’d definitely recommend this drone to both beginners and even more experienced drone flyer who are looking for a something quick, easy and fun to fly!

First impression its too small.bright side:Light, Robust, fans covered, that makes it fall proof. Good for indoor fun, Sound nice not crazy like some drones. Safe for kids, 3 batteriesDark side:Joystick Controls are random maybe i got a faulty piece. Battery last only 5 mins. Camera is not useable. Too expensive for a little toy

Good value for money, it’s perfect for indoor flying. Camera is what it is 720p. To improve this drone, upgrade the camera to 1180p and a longer lasting battery and the hs420 would be unbeatable.

Positives: aesthetically pleasing, small, lightweight, manoeuvrable, compact, rotary blades are contained (safety and child friendly), seemingly good battery life.Negatives: after syncing the drone to the controller, the drone took off on command, but then flew off randomly every time (tried at least ten times to sort it out). Also the app did not sync with the drone, and nor did the app allow me to log in.Overall: I like the design, and the versatility. It is an innovative, child friendly model, and I think if these technical flaws can be ironed out, it'll be an excellent product going forward. However, for the time being, it is not fit for purpose. A pity, as I have seen great reviews and videos showing it working; so I suppose the final thought on the matter is: unreliable.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this little drone. Controls and manoeuvres really well. Battery time could be a little longer, but with 3 batteries included that charge pretty quickly, this is ok. It does require trimming every now and again, but in some ways this is part of the fun. "Throw and fly" is a nice touch as well as the standard flips and the additional "circle fly" and spin. All works perfectly as detailed clearly in manual. The video is very decent and the app works seamlessly first time. Possibly a little on the pricey side for a toy drone, but likely due to the addition of the camera. For a beginner pilot, this drone offers great practice for wanting to learn to fly without headless mode. Just stay out of the wind :) I really like the controller too. All in all, a great little drone! One more thing to add here (from a previous Holy Stone purchase of another drone), is that I have found Holy Stone customer service exceptional. I had a few issues with the other one and they were all addressed very quickly and completely with the same contact throughout.
