Absolutely not. Microtech knives start at $220 and up well about $1,500. Mtech is made in China with very very cheap steel. Microtech however, is made in the USA with high end, premium steels

what is the hilt made from? Rubber or steel?

Whole handle is plastic as far is i remember have not look at it in long time - handele is a little short but its ok 4 the price !
