This very detailed book is an excellent resource on the dark knight himself, nicely styled and executed. Amazon delivered in excellent condition, Recommended for the Batman enthusiasts.

WOW. What a great book. As a long time Batman comic collector, I only found 1 mistake in this book. (Dick Grayson's original Nightwing costume wasn't the black and blue; it was the blue and yellow with the high 80s collar). It was also great to see how "Son of the Demon" and Damian's birth was detailed with an unmailed letter from Talia to Bruce. She informed Brucethat she did not miscarry and that the baby was adopted (and how she might try to get the baby back). Bruce's instinct that there may be more to this story leaves room for anything...including the possibility that Damian is in fact a clone of the original adopted baby (which, according to Son of the Demon, was to be named Thomas, not Damian, after Bruce's father). This would have been unnecessary had Grant Morrison bothered to actually read the graphic Novel "Son of the Demon" instead of making Bat's son a test tube baby / clone

Bought this for my boyfriend who is more I to Btman than I am, but I ended up thoroughly enjoying it as well! Gives a great overview if the comic book batman. The only complaint I have is that one corner and some pages were bent on arrival. My boyfriend doesn't mind that though, and the book was great so I saw no reason to exchange.

A great book for any Batman fan - old or new. Covers a lot of the Batman comic history from Bruce Wayne/Batman's perspective. I bought the paperback version and it is well worth the price. I would have liked to get the hardback version, but I'm too cheap to put up the extra bucks. I've been a consummated Batman fan since the age of 4 (now 50) - and enjoy having this in my collection.

I own every book about Batman - from the Great Comic Book Heroes to the 75th anniversary editions and this one is very cool. It's got lots of great faux articles and artwork. My only quibble is that minor villain's dossiers are somewhat glossed over and there is no entry for the Killer Moth - one of Batman's most steadfast foes since the 50's!

Very sharp book for any fan of the batman. Only concern was that the seller shipped a bit beat up for being new, other than that this will make a great gift. If you are a collector, definitely get the hardback leather bound copy. It is something that you can put on your coffee table and your guests will feel like they are not allowed to touch it. It is aesthetically much nicer (more expensive as well). As a cool gift, the paperback will do, but does not do the hard cover copy justice. Would purchase again!

Try to find it in Hardcover, it deserves it. No regret at all for this Buy. Get yours.
