I've been buying Illy Classico beans for years, and they never disappoint. If you're looking for a smooth, balanced, and reliably delicious coffee, this is it. Freshness: The first thing you'll notice is the signature "whoosh" sound when you open the pressurized can. That's the sound of freshness! The aroma that hits you is incredible—rich and fragrant without being overpowering. The can does an amazing job of preserving the beans. The Beans: As you can see from the pictures, the beans are a beautiful, uniform medium roast. They aren't overly oily, which is great for my grinder, and you can tell they are high-quality 100% Arabica beans. The Taste: This is the quintessential Italian coffee experience. It has a lovely smoothness with subtle notes of caramel and a hint of chocolate. There is absolutely no bitterness, just a clean, satisfying finish. It's perfect for my morning espresso, but it also works wonderfully in a drip coffee maker or French press. Excellent coffee. Smooth and balanced. Definitly reccomend. Hints of.caramel and chocolate.

Very good. My go to is- and has always been- Starbucks whole bean French Roast. I only use my hand pulled La Pavoni Professional that is now my 3rd and is 27 years old. But I always experiment. Judgement- 1) quad shot hand pulled into a very short steamed milk 2) initial smell- Did you say “Florence”? 3) taste- came through the milk unsurprisingly drier than I love, but very honest “espresso” flavor. 4) if you love Espresso? This might be an honest choice. 5) if you’re all French Roast? Don’t deviate.

I've been using these beans for an incredibly long time and have a subscription to them. I use them for espresso, and their sealing technique really reflects in the quality and "freshness" of the beans. These beans are a step above the beans you'd find at the grocery store, and I recommend them to everyone. They grind well if you have a quality grinder. They do well in Mochas especially due to the notes.

My favorite coffee! Our go-to coffee, After a trip to Italy, this brand was prominent over there. When we returned home we immediately invested in an espresso machine and these are pretty much the only beans we use. The texture is smooth and even and a nice creama, I prefer medium for lattes and the dark roast for iced coffee for the summer. A little more than other coffee but it's our favorite!

Having purchased this many times, I can say that this time the coffee tastes nothing like it should. What happened? The beans are smaller and many are broken, and most importantly the taste is -- well it's completely lacking! And the caffeine seems absent also. Having loved this coffee for some time, I sincerely hope this was just a fluke and not part of the ongoing quality decline in virtually everything that becomes more apparent every day.

j'achète toujours le café illy pour ma machine à café espresso et c'est mon préféré. en plus il est souvent moins cher sur amazon qu'en épicerie.

If you want to try a different kind of coffee/espresso i'd recommend illy.
