Nashville Hot Chicken Spices, 20 Oz

Not living in Nashville, Hot Chicken seasoning can be a challenge to find, unless you make your own. (Which is not impossible.) But we found this to be a good buy. If you like things super hot, you'll probably think this is on the mild side. If you don't, you'll think it's hot enough. Good flavor though and simply enough that it gives you options on how to use it. (Sprinkle it on and bake/grill, make a paste for fried chicken, mix with ground beef meat for burgers, blackening spice, etc.)One additional comment I'll make is that the seller's pictures don't do it justice. You get a lot of it! See my photo. Coffee cup is for scale.

Detailed ingredients are not published on Amazon page. Here is a pic I took when I got my bottle. It smells pretty smoky and should be good. Will update when I use it more. Price is good. Main ingredients only listed as spices. This is very not clear to consumer.

Coming from Nashville I have had a lot of Hot chicken. This is a very good mix. Not quite as hot as I like it, but hot enough. I use it as a dusting rather than mixing with oil and dunking so I'm sure it hasn't tasted as good as it could, but I can do without those calories. One hint, you can take frozen popcorn chicken or strips and throw them in a bag with a little of this mix then cook as directed. Very good.

Seasoning is ok but far from an actual Nashville Hot seasoning flavor

I'm a pretty big fan of Nashville hot chicken. Out here in LA I've had Howlin Ray's and Daves hot chicken among others. Now I wont say that this seasoning is at their level, but I will say that it's pretty darn good. I actually have just bought grocery store fried chicken and sprinkled this on top and it tasted good. This seasoning actually has pretty decent heat. I'd say 6.5 out of 10. Not too shabby!
