Glad I found THE ONE.
Wow, hands down best iPad mini case I’ve owned. Checks all my boxes. This case has everything I was looking for in an iPad mini case:-feels quality to the touch-device fits securely and evenly in case-cover attaches magnetically to the back of the case when opened-has a built in vertical stand-close to sleep functionality-volume buttons just the right pressure to press-easily accessible home button and charging port for cables-great Apple Pencil slotHighly recommended.

Best iPad case I've had
I've had several iPads now, each with a slightly different style case and this one is my favorite so far.First, I prefer thin-form cases that aren't bulky. I want my iPad mini to stay as light as possible and as slim and portable as possible.Second, I do like a good stand but not all stands work well. This case uses ingenious "origami" to accomplish different stand angles and orientations without adding chunky plastic legs to the case. There are two ways to fold it, each resulting in 2 different viewing angles when horizontal (only one of the folds works well for vertical orientation but I rarely stand my iPad vertically).Third, the built-in pencil holder is perfect. It doesn't interfere with charging, the pencil stays secure and doesn't fall out, and I like the open groove to hold when I'm also using the pencil - since the entire case is so thin there's not much of an edge to grip, this adds a little extra along one edge.Last, the entire thing is magnetic and will stick to something like a refrigerator. A niche use but I've done it at least once.

fine case with some reservations
I'm writing this after several months using the case. I love the design and the fact that it can stand up quite stably in landscape (more than one angle) or portrait mode. It's nice and light and reasonably protective though not 6 foot drop at 20 miles an hour protective. The compartment for the pencil is very well designed. The price is also quite fair (the Zugu was $50).I've had a couple reservations however. They may be more production than actual design issues. In other words, I suspect there's some variance. The two big ones are that the holes and edges were maybe ever so slightly miscut. The edge of the charging port gets in the way. At times, I thought I was charging when the USB C connector actually wasn't all the way in. I have to push a little harder and more carefully to make sure it's right. The second matter is the edging around the screen is just a bit too tight. If you push on the outside of the case (say when you're trying to make sure the USB port is connected), it pulls the corners of the screen protector up which results in dust or bubbles getting between the screen and the screen protector. Finally, the flap over the screen is a little bit on the floppy side, likely a consequence of the origami design that makes the case so versatile in standing mode. This one's not a big deal, but it does impact how protective the case really is: it can fall open screen first even with the flap closed. My guess is that I got one of the ones in the production batch that were just a little off, maybe not defect level off, but annoying level off. It wasn't enough for me to return it, but I now feel like i should have been more insistent about the quality control issues even for a $17 case.

Great case for the iPad Mini 7 and Pencil
Very nice case. I like that it has the pencil holder next to the iPad and it is easy to get the pencil in and out. The cover feels good and I like the stand feature. Light, without feeling cheap.

Pretty impressive protection and useful flexibility
I've been through a couple of Amazon Fire tablets and have been very pleased with their performance. I recently obtained the latest ipad mini to expand my tablet use. One thing I've disliked about these tablets is also one of their strengths...that they are super slim. They are slippery and don't return a very pleasant tactile feeling. They also have little to no protection from damage. This ipad case is pretty clever in how it provides a book like cover that also transforms into a foldable angle shape to support the tablet. The material of the case has a nice tactile feel and is not slick. It provides a much better grip on the tablet. The material appears and feels quite durable. It looks like it will provide a decent amount of drop protection. I currently have no plans to get an ipad pencil, but the groove in the case for the pencil is not a problem or in the way, so I wouldn't dismiss this case due to the groove for the pencil. I may even try inserting a normal ball point pin that will fit that groove just to have a pen at the ready any time I need one when I'm carrying the tablet. Just a thought. I recommend this case. Granted, I don't have a lot of time with the case for a long term durability test, but it seems decently robust. The front flap cover that is magnetic is definitely powerful enough to hold the tablet against a suitable metallic surface.

Perfect for my needs!
Bought this for my brand-new A17 iPad Mini. Perfect fit, holds the iPad securely, Apple Pencil is also secure while still being connected/charged on the iPad. Intuitive and super easy to use as a stand in either portrait or landscape mode, and the coral pink color (I forget now what they called it) has a sort of heathered finish that complements the coral pink Apple-made cases for the AirPod Max headset and my iPhone. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect case for iPad mini
I love this case, as it is exactly what I was looking for. It's sleek, protective, and attractive. I also like the way the cover folds up so that you can use it as a stand. Several of my coworkers have commented on it and asked me where I got it. I have had no problems with it and highly recommend it.

Great affordable case with well thought out features
This case was exactly what I wanted. Not too heavy and holds the pencil so it magnetically charges but also keeps it from being bumped off the side.
