I'm a long time user of Philips hue and I have amassed quite the collection of their products over time.These bulbs were incredibly simple to install and set up. These are the first bulbs I have that use bluetooth, which I know is a more recent addition to the Philips hue line. I don't make much use of it, but I can see the appeal in not needing a bridge to use the products out of the box.They work perfectly with the hue app and work just as you'd expect. For anybody interested, you don't need to use the app at all for these they work through the light switch too.They are very energy efficient - important for app users as I do find I leave the light switches on even though the bulbs themselves are off - just for ease of use with Alexa/apple HomeKit so I can always control them and run scenes without connection errors etc

These look great in our new kitchen, can get decently bright but given the style these work well at a lower warmer colour temperature too! Fully tuneable on brightness and temperature so can fit any mood. Get what you pay for with Hue… sure you can find cheaper bulbs, but I’ve never had a hue bulb disconnect from the bridge or fail to respond.
