Looks great, very grippy and protects well when I drop it!

Pleasantly surprised! I thought nothing of buying a new plain, clear case for my iPhone but I’m actually impressed with the “no slip” grippy feature on the sides of the case! It has made holding my phone much easier. I would recommend this brand! Thank you!

Great case that is still very slim but very grippy on the sides, still has more than adequate protection for corners/camera of the iphone 13. Sides have great textured feel, more aggressive than other slim cases I've used. Still has magsafe which is really convenient now. Giving new life to a recycled iphone to the kids. Very satisfied with the case, will keep this line/brand on the radar as an alternative to my Caudabe cases, was a prime day value :)

Nice case, grippy sides are easy to hold on to and it fits perfect. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the color of the case in the picture is purple but the actual case is lighter, more of a lavender.

comfortable grip

I’ve only had this case about 5 minutes and it’s already my favorite phone case. I’ve had several other cases, both cheap and very expensive. This case is better than all of them and here is why.There is so much attention to detail, and details you can’t see in the pictures. The detail that made me decide I wanted to write a review was the small grooves on the sides of the case for your fingers to rest in. I didn’t know this case had that and it’s an awesome feature I’ve been missing out on with other cases. It’s also not pronounced enough to really be visible unless you are looking for it, but you can feel it’s there.The material is solid. I have no doubt this will provide the protection I need even though it’s pretty thin and lightweight. It’s got a bezel around the camera lenses and a bezel around the screen to protect the screen when laying flat face down. Another fine detail is that there is a notch cut out where the ear speaker is.It’s a grippy texture but not like the silicone cases. It’s not going to grip the insides of my pockets but it will be grippy to my fingers.Lastly, it has a magnet built in that’s strong enough to work with all my MagSafe accessories. I do feel there is a very slight difference in magnet strength compared to my cheap silicone case, but it’s so slight I’m not sure it’s worth bringing up and it could be all in my head.To recap, you’re not going to find a better case than this. You might get a comparable one if you buy a high end case, but in my opinion this case is better than even those high end ones and this has a pretty low price tag.If you don’t buy this case you’ll end up paying to much for a case or getting a cheap piece of garbage.

This is my 3rd Smartish case. I purchased a clear one for my prior phone (SE 2020), a purple one for my wife's 13 mini, and now a clear MagSafe one for my 13 mini. We are happy with all three of them. It fits the mini well, the buttons work easily, and it seems adequately rugged. Neither I nor my wife have yet dropped our 13 minis, but in the 1-1/2 yrs that I had the SE2020 it experienced a few drops and survived them all.The purple one (my wife's) is a nice bright color. Unfortunately, none of the other colors were as appealing to my eye and so to get one I could easily distinguish from hers, I chose the clear. It turned out well. When the phone lays on its face, I see its red color clearly through the case and the interesting white circle+line of the MagSafe feature. When laying on its back, I see the completely black screen surrounded by a thin pearlescent border that helps it stand out when sitting on a surface so I can find it easily, yet isn't so flashy as to stand out on a restaurant table where it might be snatched.I used to use other brands that make more rugged two-part cases, but they were larger, harder to install, and the buttons did not work as well. I think the Smartish is a good balance between a tank and something more usable.I like the pebble-grain perimeter that makes it easy to pick up and grip (much easier than a naked iPhone). Although the clear back is slick, the border stands out above its perimeter so when laying on a surface it will not easily slide if bumped or if the surface is tilted.As for the clarity of the clear case, time will tell. However, I just took a look at my 1-1/2 yr old SE 2020 case and it has mildly yellowed with age, so I suspect if you want clear clear, you might be replacing your case in a couple of years. Fortunately, due to Smartish's lifetime warranty they will replace a case due to yellowing as they confirmed to me in an email. However for most users, if you keep your iPhone about 4 years (industry estimated average use life), the case should likely be fine as long as you don’t mind a bit of discoloration.And finally, I am pleased to note that they are quite responsive to questions and comments via email, responding back within a day or so. I like a manufacturer that is easy to contact.

I have no clue what he does, but it seems all of my boyfriend's phone cases barely survive about three months before they're warped and torn to pieces. The funny thing is I purchased this for him about two years ago for Christmas at the recommendation of a coworker, then returned it after he purchased a more expensive, and what we thought at the time, more resilient phone case. Once again, that thing barely lasted three months. So when it was time for us to each get new screen protectors, which I purchased from this brand, I also pulled the trigger on a new phone case for him as well. Idk what they make this thing out of but it is boyfriend-proof! We've reached about the 4-month mark and it looks just as it did the day we got it and I'm sure my boyfriend has put it through the ringer. And for the price, it really is a steal!
