Got it to have a usb port inside my older car. Drilled a hole with a unibit and it fit snug. Feels solid and connects well with my Sony headunit for android auto.

This is one of those items which either works or it doesn't.. Fortunately the icepc USB D-Type Panel mount not only works but appears to meet quality standards.. I have some electronic equipment which is located behind a panel which requires connecting a USB cable to configure.. Having to open the panel to get to the equipment is a real pain so being able to mount this connector on the panel keeps me from having to open the panel up...One of the best things about the little connector is it is front mounted.. In other words it screws in from the front.. The panel is 3/4" marine plywood, so many of those adapters which are secured by a locking ring nut from behind are just not long enough to work...I give the little adapter 5 stars and will certainly buy more should I need them.. flk k

You get exactly what you're looking for here. I used this on a golf sim controller install and it worked perfectly. Very happy with it.

Added this to the back of my pedalboard for usb control of my Source Audio effects...simple and easy install.

At first I thought I had made a good purchase as the build quality of this bulkhead connector is very good. The problem is that is the jack is incorrectly sized for USB connectors (see photo) in both length (too short) and fit (WAY too loose). I installed it and on first use, had intermittent connectivity due to these issues. So basically the item is completely useless for its intended purpose other than to look nice to the eye.

I installed this into my rackmount and it not only didn’t work as I had hoped for being a pass through module but it also simply didn’t even work as a charger for my phone . It’s honestly quite useless.

Solid and looks nicely made, but the USB connections are loose, and the item did not include screws. I bought this for wired operation of my back yard observatory, and installed it with a weatherproof outlet cover. The loose connection caused multiple equipment disconnects. But hey, it looks cool. Garbage.

Installed this USB passthrough connector in my truck as part of a stereo installation. Didn't get any connection. Replaced it with a connector from Amphenol. USB works now.

Simplemente no funciona. Al momento de probarlo con diferentes cables, no hay paso de datos ni de corriente alguna.

Good quality, Solid. note it doesn't come with screws.
