Throw the factory settings in the trash, otherwise it does a great job
Pretty straightforward to install, just routing the wires can be tight. Did have a QC issue, one of the wires for the O2 plug wasnt fully crimped around the insulation, and the wire pulled out of the terminal. I was able to fix it, but I can see someone else returning the while thing because of this.Whoever came up with the factory setting for an XVS950 must have been looking at the wrong figures. I have a K&N filter and Cobra slip on, and the factory settings had it running WAY rich. I could smell the unburnt fuel in the exhaust. 4th-5th gear roll ons caused it to hesitate harshly and WOT fell on its face. Factory settings are 2.5, 6, 3, for an aftermarket slip on. I reset the 2nd and 3rd pots to 0, and found the best settings to be 2.5, 3, 3 after some testing.Once I got that set right, the bike pulls HARD, and regular driveability is greatly improved with the addition of this tuner.

Works well to balance the air/fuel mix. My XVS 950 was running lean after installing a Cobra slip-on. Thisunit stopped the backfiring issues. Just had my plugs replaced at the normal service interval and they stilllooked OK, but I think the color of the plugs indicate that I'm now running slightly rich with this units potsset to the recommended settings. I should be able to tweak that easy enough with this unit. You shouldplan to set aside about an hour or more to install this on an XVS 950. The plugs that go in the injectorsat the top of the motor are a very tight fit and pretty frustrating to get lined up in the tight clearance. Notsure if completely removing the tank would have helped, but it probably would have - I don't have agarage, so I lifted the tank in place while I installed this.

2015 Bolt-C Spec
Works great on 2015 Bolt-C Spec with TB Comp S exhaust and Comp V Intake. I still get very mild back firing letting off throttle at high speeds but I just need to play with the jet adjustments some more on the controller. Fired bike up before and after install and made a huge difference in performance and jetting! Makes adjusting jets sooo much easier than carbs.

I am very happy with the performance and installation of my Cobra Fi2000. The only complaint I would have is that the instructions are not the best, but that does not detract from the product. It helps having needle nose pliers with extra long snout to reach the connectors on your stock injectors. Take your time, and it will be worth the work! The bike runs much better with this installed!

Unless you have Cobra slip on Cobra is no help with settings
Still trying to get settings right. Don’t have Cobra slip on so I was told I’m pretty much on my own for settings.

Works great, no more popping during decel! Had an issue with the weather pack on one of the terminals, but I was able to fix it.
