Great price and look BUT NOT REAL CRYSTAL!.I had a votive candle in glass sitting in the middle of the crystals and the crystals I bought here MELTED FROM THE HEAT AND STUCK TO THE CANDLE GLASS!! My other natural crystals did not, so these ARE FAKE.Or in the words fo Romulan Senator on Deep Space Nine, "It's a faaake!".

I didn't realize that these are not turquoise. They are just dyed to look like turquoise (also the dye job kind of sucks). That might be fine for some people, but I planned on crushing them and using them for inlay. The dye is only on the exterior surface. I looked up howlite and discovered that it is a type of porous white rock with black webbing, so when dyed it looks very similar to turquoise. I think the product listing should say "imitation turquoise" just to make it clear.

Very disappointed. My stones look nothing like the picture of the Amethyst stones I ordered. Most of them are a sort of dirty dull grey color, some are clearish, a few have the slightest hint of purple. They are quite dirty and I had to wash them a lot and then I noticed that there are quite a number with holes drilled through them, as if for stringing on a necklace wire. The edges of the stones in the picture look smooth and tumbled, but many of mine are sharp and jagged. Overall it was a terrible purchase and I wouldn't buy them again. Puzzles me why there are so many good reviews. Maybe the quality is very variable depending on which of the type of stones you order.

Ordered labradorite chips. They look nothing like the photo and there are a bunch of other stone chips in with the bunch that are tiger stone and random other ones. I ordered just labradorite. Won't be ordering again!

Update as of 4/1/20. I got the Labradorite ones recently. As with the mixed ones I got a while back I like them. I’m not an expert but they look real to me. It’s a nice mixture of flashy labradorite an non flashy ones. I plan on using the shinier ones in my skull ornament and the rest will go to a vase with other mixed stones. To me they are well worth the price for the 1 lb you get. I’ll be back for ours down the roadI like them. They’re just the right size for the bottle I put them in. The stones are not dyed thankfully because I don’t like dyed stones over all. For chip stones they have good color but I didn’t get to many vibrant amethyst which made me sad. Keep your expectations realistic and you shouldn’t be disappointed with them.

I used these for inlay into rings I make and they came out great looking. The colors shown very closely match what you get. They range from light green to almost a black green and the the red to almost purple parts. Some stones have a nice black stripe through the greens. I would buy them again once I run through this batch.

a good friend who is a retired jewelry store owner and and has all sorts of professional certifications himself in that industry look at this mix...😞...& laughed... I’ll just pass that along.After I had washed and sorted then, what else became clear was that they were also polished extremely poorly. If you don’t care if the stones are “genuine” gemstones or not... and they’re simply for decorative purposes, then you can decide if this type of cracked, rough polish is what you’re looking for or if you want more traditionally smoothly polished stones.

I ordered the large size better grade of stones, these are very small in size, not if anything will be left after you tumble polish them. Quality looks good but I’m very disappointed in the size! As you can see in the photo, these are small
