Good quality materials, my kid absolutely loves them! But you definitely want to buy some sort of storage container to store all the tiles in.

My kids from 2 to 9 are all enjoying this set the day after Christmas. I think it's a good value, lots of pieces and various shapes, and comes with the ferris wheel, train, and stuff like that I was looking for.They shipped and arrived quickly.The bad: I was hoping since it's the same size that it would work with the magformers sets I already have. They do NOT. The magnets are placed in a different location so they don't line up and are not compatible. Maybe the kids will find a creative way to use them together anyway.The plastic doesn't seem as sturdy as the magformers, these are more of a hollow shell than the magformers. I know adults can step on the magformers and they don't break, where these kind feel like they would crack more easily. Hasn't happened yet, but it feels inevitable.Shape comparison, these are very square while magformers are rounded.Magformers come with several instruction booklets on bow to build various things. This set just comes with the pictures on the box and a few more pics on a paper. The kids have been frustrated a few times trying to figure out how to build some things. The ferris wheel in particular they gave up on and insisted it was impossible, the magnets just kept falling off as it spun. It took some dad engineering to show them it would work if they lined up the 2 sides better and didn't let it spin fast until it was completely built.That said, it works, but it's a bit unstable. The magnets are not as strong as magformers. Anytime you try to move the build, or actually play with it, like the cars or trains, they just fall apart.I will plan keep them because the kids enjoy it and don't mind that they are not fitting the other magnets we have. They like the variety, apparently I'm the only crazy one that wants everything the same.

The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because they're not the same size as all my other sets, so they aren't compatible to build bigger things. Otherwise great.

My daughter loves them and there able to use with the original set.
