Ditch the electronic timers and get these!
I was tired of replacing the failed electronic Woods timers on an annual basis, so replaced with these BN-Link timers. If you turn the timer past 10 minutes, it will work perfectly. They are easy to install, take less room in the electrical box than the other guys timers. No Neutral wire is required. Simply wire in circuit between your Line and Load and you are golden. For the price, I think they're a good value. I hope this helps you make your decision! I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise. I give these timers my Big-Foot “Stomp” of approval and 5 stars!

Does what it does just fine
This is just a basic time switch for lights or fans or whatever. I have two of them that I use in the bathrooms to set the fan to run during showers. They remove a lot of the humid air to make the room more comfortable and not fog the mirrors. I have bought timers before for a different home. Got the idea when a real estate agent, while showing a home for sale, turned on the fan in the bathroom. Then, forgot to turn it off. After leaving the showing, the home was empty and the fan kept running. It overheated and started a fire which caused a lot of damage. The house then could not be sold for several months due to repairs. This happened in my neighborhood and caused me to get a timer. These seem to work fine. They turn a little hard, and really hard when reducing the time set. They are new, so will likely be easier over time. They seem to run very close to the time set. I set one for 20 minutes. I check it at 18 minutes to see if it was fairly accurate. Normally the time set is not critical, just making sure it does turn off. My test resulted in the time going off just 15 seconds short of 20 minutes. More than accurate enough. I am satisfied. BTW, the white color is really white, not cream like a prior brand I tried.

Solid Timer Switch But With Stranded Wires
If you've ever used a digital timer switch and had it fail within months (as they are apt to do), come to the other side: mechanical spring-wound switches. This solid timer switch has little that can fail. As mentioned in other reviews, the unit is large and bulky. Even in my spacious one-gang box, I had to be creative to fit the wires. But, with timers, that's normal with these switches. But one thing I really didn't like: the protective plastic film requires you to remove the switch and the bolted faceplate to remove it. And the plastic is so tightly applied to the switch that it takes a long time to remove. I was wondering why the unit has stranded wires instead of the usual copper wires. Maybe all timer switches have stranded wires? In any case, I found them challenging to deal with. The operation is amazingly easy. Just turn the knob clockwise and let it go.

Working great over a year later
Over a year later and this timer still works perfectly. It is mounted on an outside wall in a junction box with cover, certainly not the best conditions but it never fails....not yet anyway. I use one for my RO system and one for a fountain on my patio. I have used others and rarely do they last longer than 6 months before sticking on. The dial on these remain firm and shut off consistently.

The Simplest, Most Reliable Upgrade You’ll Ever Give Your Bathroom! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you are tired of your bathroom fan running all day because someone forgot to flick the switch, or if you’re constantly battling mid-shower humidity, the BN-LINK 60-Minute Spring Wound Timer is the absolute hero of home hardware. Why this is a 5-Star Game Changer: The "Set and Forget" Magic: It’s so satisfying to just twist the dial to 15 or 30 minutes and walk away. No more guessing, no more wasted electricity, and the fan shuts off perfectly every single time. Old-School Reliability: Unlike digital timers that have confusing buttons or screens that eventually burn out, this mechanical spring-wound design is built like a tank. It has that classic "tick-tock" sound that lets you know it’s working, and it’ll probably outlast the house. The DIY Win (No Neutral Required): This is the best part. If you have an older home, you know the struggle of finding "neutral wires." This BN-LINK switch doesn't need one. I swapped my old toggle switch for this in under 10 minutes—it’s a direct replacement that anyone with a screwdriver can handle. Sleek & Clean Look: It comes with the wall plate and a nice, tactile knob. It looks professional and modern on the wall, fitting right in with the rest of my bathroom fixtures. Pro-Tip: If you’re using it for a high-moisture shower, set it for 20 minutes after you get out. It clears the steam perfectly and prevents that annoying mildew buildup on the ceiling. Final Verdict: This is a $15-20 fix that solves a $100 humidity problem. It’s quiet, durable, and dead-simple to install. If you have a bathroom fan, you need this switch. 10/10!

Junk
I keep meaning to take this out of my bathroom and replace it. It is horrible and has never worked right. No matter how far you twist it the knob zips back to around 5 minutes and starts the timer from there. Except when it doesn't. Sometimes you twist the timer to 30 mins or whatver and it just sits there. This this is junk.

Great Bathroom Fan Timer
I really like my timer. When I stink up the bathroom, I can set the exhaust fan and just leave. I don’t have to worry the fan will run a long time, because it shuts off at whatever time you set. Thus, I don’t have to remember to turn it off.

Bought 3 1 failed a few weeks in. The second just quit 2 months later. They need to be taken apart and a light oil sprayed in the gears. Not wd40 oil. Something like Kroll or gun oil in spray form. The switch itself is good. The timer is assembled dry

Perfect solution!
We were constantly leaving a light on in a storage room in our basement floor. We may leave for a week or two and have left it on.......this solution was a fix to a costly problem! My husband easily switched the normal light switch to this timer and it has worked very well for us!
