Dunlop Tortex® Pitch Black, .73mm, 12/Player's Pack

Great picks, nice and grippy, especially if you don't like the orange color of the regular tortex 0.60mm picks

Have used many picks over the past 12 years and these may very well be my favorite. I play a Martin D-41 and the tonal qualities and feel of this pick just work. They are easy to hold on to and do not warp easily at all. I keep several in my wallet and they have kept their original shape far better than the regular .60mm orange Dunlop picks. The coating is slightly thicker than the orange version and there is more of a powder-like texture, which I like when sweating slightly or playing for several hours.Also, it may not be a big deal to many, but the lettering on this pick stays intact (unlike many other picks that are completely blank after a few playings). I thought this was pretty cool.Great acoustic pick, great feel, and good overall natural sound. Nice price too.

I'm by no means a professional guitarist, but even at 44 I still like to immaturely act as if I am when I play in my living room. Bouncing around, spinning, getting really into it. But don't worry boys and girls, only when I'm alone. This spectacle causes my fingers to sweat and because of this holding a pick becomes difficult. I must have tried a thousand picks over the years, but the Tortex is the best pick I've ever used. Great pick attack, perfect bend at .73 and stays put in my fingers no matter how slippery my fingers become. I simply cannot use other picks that are smooth. After bouncing around for 15 or 20 minutes, they just start slipping in my fingers then it becomes a battle to try to squeeze the pick so it won't move which in turn causes me to slow down my picking because I end concentrating on holding the pick and my hand becomes stiff. The texture of the Tortex picks allows a firm grip on the pick while my hand can be relaxed allowing me to have faster picking. I don't even think about my pick hand with these picks.

I love these picks. Because I was breaking picks so often, I was using nylon picks. Nylon is fine, but I don't like the control or sound they give very much. So I decided to give these tortex picks a try. IMHO, these are much better than plastic or nylon. The sound is much cleaner and the control I have is much better... And as a bonus, I haven't broken a single pick yet.My only complaint is that they are hard to grip. I have dry fingers and gripping these are a chore. They slide around in my fingers, forcing me to adjust mid stream. They would be perfect if they had a ridge or two to help my grip.

Perfect feel for acoustic or electric guitar

I have been using the same picks (another brand) for the past 15 years and as they are kinda hard to find and at .85 cents each I wanted to try something else. I ordered two sample packs (.88 and .73) to find the gauge that comes close to the gauge I was using, I am quite happy with the tone and feel of these picks plus the black version look pretty cool!

Been using these ever since I got a free one with my box of EMG pickups. I will never use a other pick brand again.

Las Tortex son las plumillas más duraderas y cómodas que he probado. Esta edición no es la excepción, aunque se sienten poquito más frágiles que las clásicas de colores, y en estas el diseño se borra en cuestión de minutos al usarlas un poco, pero duran muchísimo

Palheta perfeita ao meu gosto e o que preciso.

Después de probar muchas puas , creo que estás son de las mejores. Buen agarre y bien control. Cuando las tienes muy usadas empiezan a resbalar, pero duran mucho.
